Don't panic guys. Talked to many people who have cleared prelims even earlier. They are scoring in the range of 80/90. V few people scoring high. So my prediction is cut off going to be surprisingly low around 80-85 for general ( 77/78 obc, 72-74 EWS) so start your mains preparation right away. Don't wait till the results.

Byjus, please put these demands from us before upsc; 1. Remove CSAT or; 2. Increase CSAT paper time to 3 hours; 3. Set mathematics and reasoning questions on general level. 4. Stay affirmative rather than being adamant on this inflated notion of invincibility. While it is necessary to not let students become mere bookworms, it is equally important to realise the gravity of the situation from the perspective of a humanities background student. Do we need to attend IIT institutions for CSAT now.

Aspirations of Students doing self study, especially those from rural areas are being massacred by UPSC's unbridled discretion. There should be some safeguards for us. We request Byjus to look into this on our behalf especially in case of CSAT paper which is getting out of our reach. The level of subjectivity in comprehension is very high and there is a very thin line that determines the right answer. This combined with very difficult maths and reasoning portion manufactures a death pill for us. Please, look into this.

If I give anyone there in the upsc some comprehension passages to solve, I bet that they'll be lost in subjectivity. It is unfair that upsc is leaning heavily towards mathematics background students these days by making maths portion difficult and time consuming.

The options are too subjective, if UPSC is gonna make only one answer correct, it reduces the whole exercise to nothing. Better replace comprehension with decision making then.

This CSAT is a trap. Comprehension portion is very subjective in nature and time consuming. On the other hand, mathematics and reasoning questions are putting humanities students at a comparative disadvantage. We need someone to hear our grievances. We desperately need somebody to listen to us.

Yes you're right.... In CSAT two options in most of the passages are quite close and subjective in nature.... Upsc in order to make comprehension questions tough, it's basically moving more towards subjectivity in comprehension which is fatal to the students who relied on passages ...

Q3 of polity at 5:00 The question is asking about the status of the constitution and not about the preamble. Even before "socialists and secular" was added in the constitution the constitution was secular and socialist. 🤔
