7:24 is interesting and reminds me of how I intend to deal with a vertically aimed subwoofer 'column' so that higher bass frequencies receive even room distribution.

Hi Kevin - thanks - it would help dumb folk like to to understand how the super tweeter is connected to the system -- I believe it comes with wires and these are connected to the high-level inputs in the speakers that the super tweeter sits on. BUT is this how you do it? Fyne make the one you showed in this vid but there are others. Are there relative merits? How good are Fyne Audio speakers in or near corners ?

I've been auditioning the 15 inch model, they are some of the best speakers I've heard. Smooth detailed sound, a little on the warm side, very impressive tight hard-hitting bass and a big soundstage. I put on some Rachmaninoff and cranked it up, it was almost frightening how real it sounded, they go insanely loud with no hint of strain or distortion. Only thing I've heard that compares are the KHorns. And the wood finish and gold details on the cabinet is gorgeus. Pictures online cannot properly convey how beautiful they are, you have to see them in person. Without doubt my new dream speakers.

Yep, Tannoy cannot get out of its shadow to in brace speaker evolution...aka Bean Counters and welcome China parts.

Tannoy own the copyright on the old tannoy designs, but they’re now being made of different materials and drivers, so they may LOOK the same but they don’t SOUND the same. And they’re definitely not as well built

100 $ ETI connectors - and a (literally) 50 cent sand cast resistor in the crossover (?) Better resistors sound, well better. Strange choice.
