@SavileGraydon No. The occupation of other countries was never the doctrine or the plan of National-Socialism. The elimination of the Versailles Treaty was and the creation of Großdeutschland, which were both achieved within a few years, thereby creating a political and economic powerhouse in Europe. That's the reason why Britain wanted war. Start understanding history and stop spreading lies.

@@GregorSass-Ranitz I believe you need to go back to History class. I never said "Occupy" I said "Conquer" two separate things, the Nazis wanted to conquer Europe for the purpose of Lebensraum - Living room. They wanted to take the land of other countries, kick out (genocide) non-Aryans, and repopulate with Aryans. And Britain didn't "want" war, they were forced into it. They signed a treaty, alongside France, which stated that if Nazi Germany invaded Poland it would be war - which they did, hence war was started. The British actually spent the better part of the 1930s avoiding war with the Nazis, not starting it. Talk about spreading lies.

He is, as anyone with half a brain can see, wanting to dismantle democratic institutions and maintain and try to control absolute power. It’s politics and power 101. Terrible colours and obtrusive time code aside - the footage is worth viewing - for Hitler, Goebbels, Rohm, and Goering. Hitler holds the same pose the whole time. Goebbels actually smiles. Rohm has his cap down so far you cannot see his facial expressions. Goering looks relaxed in his S.A. uniform (before he wore a Luftwaffe uniform). There are a few members of the SS present, and the music helps the motion.

These Germans were not stupid people. You must look at conditions in Germany rom 1919 to 1932 and understand what Germany lost following the catastrophe of the First World War to understand why they threw their lot in with the Nationalsocialists. And frankly, once the NSDAP got into power, they gave the German people a prosperous and dignified existence. At least, until the war came. I do not believe the NSDAP wanted war. They were busy building Germany and creating a future for their beloved nation. There is so much evidence that the war was essentially forced on the Germans for reasons of economic competitiveness, mainly on account of the USA and British. Apparently, the French were not quite so willing to declare war on the Reich but did so after encouragement from Britain, which was why the French declaration of war came so many hours after Britains.

The word nazi came from German workers at the time who used the word nazi as an insult. Associating the party with the derogatory term “Sozi” which is slang for “socialist” at the time. The term Nazi was made from “Sozi” . The word was first used in 1926 in a publication by Joseph Goebbels called “Der Nazi-Sozi” (The Nazi-Sozi) the term Nazi is derived from the words, “national” and “socialist” . So basically it was slang formed by both words as an insult by average German speakers

In 1970 and '71 I lived a couple blocks from where Hitler is standing. I walked down that street hundreds of times. So odd to see these horrible bastards in "my old neighborhood".

It reminds me of the Ukrainian parody showing the Nazis in a re-colorized movie. You don't have to understand the language in order to get the sense: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWnHiWB3ac1lerc

That's the wrong day and age. Joe Biden was too old for festivities and marches at the time so he was cheering from the house.

OK, we got it - crowds cheering. Now turn it off. That noise is worse than a '50s sitcom laugh track. Ugh.

You could turn it off yourself. Or did you watch it till the end? Fess up. You won't be cancelled.
