I am mostly worried about UPSC giving wrong answers in its official answer key. What if I attempt the direct questions that I know and UPSC marks them incorrect unnecessarily? I don't know how to gauge the ideal number of questions to be attempted.

😂It's not UPSC who gives wrong answers it's your "Star teachers" and their coachings that give wrong answers. In some questions there is some subjectivity, which can only be properly answered by the person who has set the question. The question is why you want to be a borderline case and worry about 2 or 3 questions. Prepare in a way that you have a buffer of at least 7 to 10 marks (at least in your mind). See PYQ, understand terminology, phraseology of questions and what is being emphasised in question. Simple and attempt at least 85 questions. Seriously. Note : Cleared Pre 2023 with score 81 (not so good but okay), i knew answers of only 32 questions with 99-100 percent surity. In rest i knew 50 percent or 25 percent of the question or 0 percent and did just by gut feeling or logic or calculated guess whatever you say. Attempt at least 10 test papers of any institution available on Internet so that your mind comes in problem solving form. Last but not the least, repeating, please attempt at least 85 questions. I attempted 96 last time, this time it will be 100, seriously. Best of hard work.

Sir, maine kaphi seriously taiyari ki hai. minimum 3baar pyq with good explanation. Static minimum 4/5 baar revision. With effort. Mock is baar 25-30 Time during at least 3years. Cu. Affairs कम किया है। Mock me 65-70no. now pattern only one. This type. Phir bhi ek dar rhta hai GS me at least 30-35 आते ही है.sir, Aisa nahi feel hota mujhe .

1st year - get used to college and build a reading habit (daily newspaper is good). Because when you just enter college, a number of other things start taking time and mind space. If you're able to do it, then 2nd year onwards you can start reading NCERTs and basic books.

Aap future me Civil servant bante ho aur log aapke paas apni problem leke aate hai jinko English me bolna jayada comfortable hoga to aap kyaa karenge. Isliye futuristic view ko dekhte hue aap Apne andar thori si change laa sakte hai for suggestion aap 2 ya 3 mahine ka koi English speaking course kar lijiye better feel hoga baaki upsc ki halat se ham log anjan nhi hai
