When we place seismographs at different locations on the earth we found Instead of waves going directly , it get deviated and then reaches to the surface . It shows that the Earth is not made up of single layer but made up of different layers instead.

With the observation from seismographs we have found that direction of seismic waves are not strait. They dont tracel in a strait path. They deviates. Hence we have found that interior of earth is not made up of the same material. Additionally deviation of material is just bcs of change in the density and elasticity of matters found into interior earth
