Wannna preface this with i dont actually know and havent played dome keeper just watched a bunch But, with the tree you should try and not cut it off from the rest of the mine it looks that its roots can grow indefinitely and can connect to more and more resources even before you have mined far enough to see them yourself making it grow more than one material just seems super useful than its crappy counterpart
