for trombone players to practice rang try playing peddle tone B flat, low B flat, F, High B flat, D, F, higher B flat, D all in first position like its a scale and do the same on the other positions

Honestly? When I played t-bone throughout 5th-12th, that's what I lived for. Stretching my range as much as possible. Only played t-bone for jazz band in high school though, as I was mainly a percussionist. Got my range from pedal Db to 5Eb...

We play Uptown Funk for pep-band, and this version is kinda bad in one aspect: the first note (D) in most measures should be staccato, but otherwise a great version.

Micaela Matako I’m sure that he practiced a lot but still had bad tone then he was a beginner. Good tone and high notes comes from practice and experience.

This piece is much more difficult in the average player couldn’t handle. Not to mention that the range is extremely high for many of the players. The arranger would’ve done a better service to the musical community if he had arranged it at a level where many could enjoy it.

Kay Kay I’m in high school they have a trombonist that can play middle range notes in the treble clef I recommend go out in the cold with short and a t shirt on and play scales for 5-10 minutes everyday and your range should get better because you get used to the cold and it teaches you too not be so tense
