Honestly, with how hard it is to unlock those signature buildings ( like Two Dollars Twenty has said before on his New Dollarton build), sometimes you have to unlock those buildings. Mulligan time!

i do think across the entire map it is rather simple to get at least all the residential signature buildings, even if it takes a while. However i totally agree that the offices are unreasonable.

I have a *BABE* suggestion: near the suburbs "south" of downtown I would extend the line and make it at-surface or even elevated. It would give a little bit of that "extra" feel of living near a city and elevated subways are cool as hell. And maybe in the Bixton Downtown we could have a little bit of a streetcar as a treat? Name of the streetcar system is still pending.

I think if you end up doing a metro revamp, having an elevated line would really sell the chicago feel, especially as you leave downtown. I think the new buildings could look really cool - but don't sacrifice your aesthetic values for a signature!

It's actually absurd that you can't manage to unlock all the signature buildings through gameplay. You're the only content creator I know with a city this huge, surely you should've had everything unlocked ages ago! Idk what the devs were thinking putting these gigantic requirements on the signature buildings but they have to tone them down to AT LEAST half of what they are now. Most people can't really play the game normally after reaching about 200k residents anyway...

Before you unlock all, try to create more satellite cities. You can always cheese the game by building up a new area, unlock the signature buildings, then rescale everything back to how you want. Heck, you can use that industrial area for the extra developable area. At this stage, the industry would likely move out to the suburbs where they would have more area to expand.

A big dig-style submerged highway around the downtown ring would reduce noise significantly, and you can put parks on it.

I don't know why but Bixton really reminds me of Dunswell, maybe because Dunswell is based on Vancouver and Bixton kinda looks like Seattle without any mountains around

The old industrial zone shouldn’t be a park ou housing zone because there is already a massive downtown with skycrappers and a huge park near. I think you should have to make a new campus there. Idk if it’s a thing in North America but in Europe, you have a lot of those campus near the downtown (and often, there is many campus in the same city, especially when the city is big as Bixton)

I think u should transform the old port area into a huge luxury club, for the socialites of the city, to play tennis, practice some rich sports, like a private social club, I think it will fit perfectly in the place, And you can zone the area and increase taxes, increase everything that people can consume, so that only upper class people frequent the space.

Why don’t you consider making another city in the inner land like perfectly design new capital city like New Administrative Cairo project in Egypt. And you can do like only high rise office zoning and high rise residentials only so you can unlock the unique buildings?

Devs should cut elementary to 4 to 6 years instead of 8. It's not balanced yet. Looks like you still need a focus on hospitals or traffic for sick people in downtown.

wondering how fast your simulation speed is on fasted (becaus i see your speed is always at speed 1 in the video) ,i have same issue with dead and sicknes in on off my cities,i not found the reason,my city was already updated to patch 2.0.maybe because of homeless bugs, cityplayer show us ,its still not full fixed,he tested it maybe you check your profits of your building ,or lack of school it students .

The old industrial area on the peninsula near downtown needs to be gentrified. Maybe you can build a ‘watertown’ with luxuey apartments where canals run between them & much greenery? Or perhabs an arena?

You should change your industrial port area into a mixed-used development with mixed-used, commercial, various residential zones, and maybe low or high density office zones. Make sure to maintain some industrial character of the port area, enough to remind everyone what it used to be and the history behind the place. It should be a little grungy and run-down. Maybe it can be a cool, interesting, relatively medium density neighborhood near downtown for tourists and locals alike. They should be able to grab lunch, go shopping at boutiques, or go out for a beer all in the same vicinity.
