Strategy talk:
I had to leave out some stuff in the final edit, since the initial cut of the video was a bit overloaded with information. But some of it might be important to you, if you want to replicate this run.
The purge events usually hit before the civil war break out. You can reload for better outcomes on non-ironman, otherwise you need to restart from scratch. Some purge events, at least for me, are an automatic restart. Especially those that cost 120pp to dismiss or put penalties on pp gain or army performance. You can combine dismissing purge events with territory decisions and NKVD Primacy to kick off the civil war without grinding for RNG too much.
If you encounter leader traits during the justification marathon, skip them for until after you declared on the first batch of nations or postpone until the Axis or Japan war.
You can 'steal' Ethiopia from Italy during the first peace conference, since Italy is only technically at war with Ethiopia, hence why they also aren't taking part in the peace conference.
In case Socialist Italy spawns with territory and becomes your puppet, you need to diplo-annex them through the Autonomy System (DLC-exclusive mechanic from Together for Victory). That's why I took the focus 'Long Live the Workers' Government'. It provides 100pp and makes an annexation possible more quickly. The more pp you've 'lost' prior, the longer this step is going to take. Lower autonomy by land-leasing convoys, but remember that you'll have to lower their autonomy twice - so don't send everything at once. Both steps combined are going to cost 325pp.
If you need to declare on nations before the end of a war after wiping the map nearly clean during the war with the Allies, make sure that they cannot gain significant territory or otherwise they might rise up to become major nations.
Unless you have the timing down perfectly, do not mix the war with Germany and Japan. Japan is going to leave Axis and form its own faction through a focus around that time.

This speedrun is basically what an ideological Trotskyist would hope would happen. I'm headcanoning the order 66 as spontaneous proletarian revolutions, as otherwise this just doesnt make much sense. So basically this speedrun is "what if the world revolution actually happened, all at once, in 1936-7"

WC as Germany is actually relatively easy. Just gotta kill allies before USA joins, and then annex or puppet canada and then kill them and clean up everything else. Does take a long time tho.

You really should do a world conquest man, i've done multiple now, they are very hard in my opinion the faster you get it done the better, after 1945 its almost impossible to complete because you do not have any more advantages in tech

Play Germany blitz GB with paratroopers early then war France let them overextend from Maginot encircle and destroy them Use CAS and fighters mid doctrine and then superior firepower with mass infantry artillery

@@eduardolorenzo216 even if you arent going for a world conquest, as Germany you can cap the allies (not US) and comintern by 1943 easily. Then you can use your huge mil count to beat the US through Canada and invade Japan at the same time. No where near the fastest way to do it, but even without exploits a world conquest isnt hard its just time consuming.

Have you tried putting other people there? Not counting the romanov way or the 3rd rome path, the right opossition can be really akward, but my favourite one so far was Zhukov, I have zero ideas how he ended up there, since i was playing ahistorical game as greece going for byzantium (you know, as you do), and at some point i got a message of something happening in the USSR and i see zhukov's portrait, I zoom over and he is the leader of the Party.

@@Pedro_Colicigno not as cursed, trotsky was exiled from the USSR since 1928 and was probably one of Stalin's worst opponent, Zhukov was a field marshal of the soviet union since 1943, though he wasn't involved in politics as much, that's a good one though x)

Update: Lend-lease to Italy does not work in 1.13 (Arms Against Tyranny). Park the equipment on the International Market instead. // *Unfortunately, this was patched as well. If you want to attempt this, roll back to 1.12. Or do the old arty cheese for the civil war.*

Interestlingly, regarding Order 66: It is now possible to justify on faction members and still order 66 your target. Thats how I brought down the Soviet Union as Tannu Tuva in '41

I have weird experience with this video. So I fell asleep while watching it and in my dream I was a Communist speedrunning some game with my smart moves to convert everything into communism and suddenly huge monster appears and so for my speedrun I ignore it and do some task to eventually destroy it with one hit. a way this could be quicker (completely reliant on RNG) is by not choosing a base at all this will put your starting point at a random state, so if you get lucky you could get near moscow and finish stalin very quickly

I attempted using your strategy, I forgot about the advisor so I trained every field unit and by the time it kicked off for me (Dec 1936) I had exactly 10. I did fail the run and finished in 1939 because I am bad but it may be possible without an advisor Also you can send the planes too

I haven't tried, but it should be possible since you can get additional bonuses and use the continuous focus to keep resistance low while slowly reaching 100% saturation in garrison equipment.

Once you control the whole world? 100 percent. Remember that you have annexed every country in the world without doing much (if any) fighting with them, which gives you a sizeable equipment stockpile and because you're the Soviet union you have more than enough manpower, especially considering the prince of terror's noncore manpower.

The italian civil war happens when the Italian Balance of Power shifts far enough in favour of the Grand Council of fascism. Among other things, losing states shifts the BoP in that direction, and losing core states even more so. That's why capturing scattered victory points, but not 50% of the ones in a state, doesn't fire the civil war as quickly.
