The star head random guy is not random, he appeared in ep 1 of season 1. He encouraged deku to follow his dream of being a hero cause he saw him fanboying over kamui woods and mount lady. This episode is full of call backs. Like uraraka saying "let this be his hero academia" while he is on the entrance where they met the day of the exam, where she saved him the first time of many. And people still say they are not meant for each other lol

I've seen just how stupid a group of people can act, being in America. When you're panicked or angry, logic goes out the window and you don't really see kid or innocent or anytyhing, just 'they're a threat' or 'they're trying to stop us'. So I'm just like 'I hate this but I get it throughout this part.

Something I love about the woman who runs to hug Midorya is that her name in Japanese means "ordinary woman". It sounds demeaning, but she's basically a representation of the people Deku is striving to protect.

This is why this is my favorite show ever. It makes the society feel realistic, you can disagree with some of what they say or do surrounding heros but you also kinda have to agree with them on some parts. They make these random background civilians feel like real people with real story’s and real and understandable feelings. Some shows can’t even do that with there main character!

Man this whole chapter hit like a truck for me in the manga. That scene with the citizens turning on Deku is so heart-breaking because you see each panel separated by Deku's danger sense showing that these citizens really want Deku gone or worse. 😭

@@sansayabima Danger Sense in the manga is portrayed as white lightning bolts breaking apart the very panels of the book. It seems almost impossible to adapt to an anime.

Ura spoke the hottest of fire and the realest of truths. It's tough trying to communicate in this situation, and even harder to accept and try to take steps to make things better. The heroes are being so open now compared to the commission always keeping secrets. Things are moving and it's good.

Something that was in the manga but wasnt really in the anime is im pretty sure that deku's danger sense was going crazy when the civilians were getting mad at jeanist. Meaning they fully intended to harm deku to keep him out. In the anime, its portrayed as him simply being scared by their reaction

While FINALLY breaking Izuku out of the worst emotional health he’s ever been in AND giving him everything he needed to stand before these people safely while helping him lift that IMMENSE pressure off him. (It’s one thing to offer to help and to carry the weight. It’s another to do it.) She is no two ways about it HIS hero. Not like an idealistic point but the one that wants nothing more than to keep him safe. Izuku has found a real one.

The best part about the sequence when Midoriya falls to the ground and freezeframes before Kota reaches him is that shot for shot it mirrors the scene at the end of s1e2 when All Might first tells him he can be a hero. The full circle vibes throughout this episode are peak fiction

And that's why I said, and I say it again, for me, Uraraka is the heart of this series. When most civilians think about themselves (and this is understandable given the circumstances), when most heroes think about helping others, she was thinking about how to relieve everyone, help them rest and heal. She was on the battlefield, she saw people hurt, heroes broken, villains hurt and desperate, and what she comes out of is that she wants to help everyone be able to smile in the future. She could have JUST been a love interest of Izuku or a girl in distress to save, she could have been just a badass girl after learning to defend herself, but she is so much more than that and this season isn't even the end of her evolution. I am both in a hurry and scared for when certain chapters will be adapted, but Uraraka remains for me one of the best female characters in this series, or even in shonen in general.

When you realize that Eel Boy, that yellow dude in Ura's flashback, was the guy who captured Toga and Compress at the villa and was killed by the final Twice Clone, and then Toga disguised as him to kill a bunch more heroes to avenge Twice. Also it really bothers me that the tall girl just casually says that none of the shelters would take her in because she was a heteromorph, and neither Deku nor anyone else is like, "Wait, what the fuck?"

Also, one of the first adults that started to side with Deku at 19:24 was in the very first episode of MHA. Some random extra with spikes on his head has made it through this entire show and is even helping Deku while he is at this very low point in his life.

So do reactors not realize that the only reason Tartarus fell was because AFO was both inside and outside? So he was able to do simultaneous attacks, so the guards couldn't do anything. He even said himself that if it was just him on the outside even with machina it would be unlikely hed succeeded. So with UA having security like Tartarus and anything extra the principle would put in, it would make the school pretty well protected. Like I'm not trying to sound mean, or saying this because its just her, but it seems like every reactor has the same reaction to that.

To be fair, in story no one realizes it until **spoiler ep.** To everyone, it was just shigaraki with nomus. Most reactors that binge don't fully process episodes when the next ones come up. We as anime enjoyers tend to analyze and discuss episodes with peers to fully deep dive into the lore. So I'll give them some slack even though it does annoy me at times.

You also realize that there is someone inside of UA that is working for the enemy that we still haven’t discovered yet. Which is why when what happened before could happen again. Until they explained the movement of each section of the area and under ground. @@bthsr7113You distinctly remember a lie. Horikoshi never said that. The storyline wasn’t dropped. Think about it. With the exception of season 6, every season mentioned the traitor at least once. And according to Shigaraki, All for One gave the league the information on the training camp location. The raid on the training camp is what made the heroes think there was a traitor. But if the traitor is feeding information to All for One specifically, then since right after they brought up the traitor, All for One was put in jail, how was the traitor going to do their job? The guy they feed info to is in jail. All for One JUST got broken out. This is the first time that the traitor has had an opportunity to continue doing what they do

The reason Tarturus got broken into was because AFO was inside and outside of it at the same time. He mentioned that he couldn't have forced his way in if that wasn't the case

1:48 They only broke out of Tartarus easily because of a coordinated multi-prong attack from the inside and outside. AFO himself said that even with Gigantomachia at his side, a direct assault would be more risk than he wanted to take. My issue is with how the system is set up, since this is a level of money even the DoD would be balking at. And Nezu saying he paid for it himself raises more concerns and questions than if he'd embezzled the money from school funds. This is some Evangelion nonsense of overengineered countermeasure city type stuff. And built out of a gut feeling. "Wow, movie, that is a lot to buy!" Also that talk about combining with Shiketsu: POWERLINK!

Another like 10/10 episode. I love Uraraka so much, I did like her from back when people viewed her as just another shonen no personality female. But I really respect her and her views. She delivered a powerful speech, and fought in a different battle then Deku, but she fought it well. Banger episode after banger episode. Can't wait for tomorrow either.

She probably only saw her during the sports festival and then only as just another of Deku's classmates. This is her first impression of the girl who is head over heals for her son. It's an isekai/power fantasy anime, and I really enjoyed it when I first watched it. Season 1 is a little rough, just cuz it's older, but season 2 is fire.
