All jokes aside, they really went all out with the Deku vs. Bakugo fight. If they’re doing animation like this just for the OVA, then I’m not concerned about Season 7 or Movie 4 one bit.

If you ever want to give another superhero anime a try (aside from One Punch Man), a criminally underrated one - and the very first Japanese superhero content I ever saw in my life - is Tiger & Bunny. It's really, *really* good, and has a very interesting take on superheroes as reality TV stars and corporate spokesmen, similar to athletes in the real world.

Midoriya vs Bakugo reminded me of Yugi vs Kaiba. Wouldn't be funny if they suddenly pulled out the Dark Magician and the Blue-Eyes White Dragon?

Please watch the movies, esp the first two. They also have very short ova's that set the stage for them. At least movie 1 and 3 does, not sure for 2nd one. They are all canon per the mangaka's word, you'll be seeing characters and references from them. One of the international heroes you see in the last ep of s6 is from movie 3. Deku's red gauntlets from his runaway arc are from first movie. Movie 3 isn't as referenced as movie 1-2, but has very nice animation and backgrounds.

So, I just saw the trailer for the upcoming fourth moive, and, I will say, that I don't like the pretense for it. That being said, seeing how this is a series that has been really clever throughout, maybe it'll be better that I originally think? (Certainly can't be any worst that the two RWBY/Justice League movies, that's for sure.)
