Wow very interesting! I'm so used to dunking my fish in lime juice but never tried soaking them. I have breadfruit ready to pick and now I just need to get me some fish 😊. On my island, we cook our breadfruit the same way, but instead of taking out the skin completely, we sharpen an oyster shell to scrape the skin to somewhat making it clean. Awesome content, thank you!💜

I always thought you had to peel breadfruit before cooking it I learned something new. I love Breadfruit its my favourite but never had it till I visited Fiji.what a wonderful life in the village, lots of hard work but so rewarding. Lol the guy slapping that poor breadfruit though. This guy washing his hands on the poor fruit🤣 In Samoa we use 2 sticks to prepare the breadfruit after roasting. One is struck in the middle of the breadfruit as a holder while the other stick is used peels the skin off. Fast and effective. But def no slapping hahahhahahaha
