this is good uranage(looks like yoko guruma ). and 2:28 technique is good too.

Nobody noticed Yuki Nakai got a huge concussion min 3:45
I think this technique is not uranage eiter. This is yokoguruma!

I think a yoko guruma is more about the dropping of your body and pulling of the leading hand of uki, uranage is more huge-lifting and then drop. So I think this is a uranage.

His opponent is Yuki Nakai

Sasaki Sensei reports that this was definitely not Yuki Nakai. He said it was a sort of rival he had competed against for years, but not Nakai.

Beautiful judo but you can now see the Western influence with the winning gestures and prancing around. The worst are the French. When I was a boy in Japan if you won you were quiet and did not gloat. Of course I am irrelevant.

Yes, I am Japanese, but I am living in the US. I am proud of beautiful Japanese culture.

***** I do not practice anymore because I am too old -70yrs- and I gave up Judo in my 40's. I have always loved the sport as I love Japan and now I can watch the contests on youtube. Judo has improved so much since I was young and unfortunately the Japanese have lost their dominance but they are still the greatest Judo nation and the place people go for advanced instruction.
