@@fgs6158 It’s a Steady State Drive for storage. Instead of the old school hard drive, this is actually storage on a special chip. It makes loading fast cause there are no moving parts to it.

This is how I see it, if you already have a Ps5 there is literally no need to get this, but if you have a PS4 or a different console and want to get a new Ps5 get the slim.

Since GTA 6 is about to officially be announced it's time for me to get serious about finally getting my PS5. When the Slim was first revealed I didn't care for a few things ESPECIALLY the glossy plastic and thought I would still get the original version of the PS5. But now the slim has definitely grown on me, plus some of the internal upgrades it's getting like a true 1 TB hard drive and an easy way to upgrade the SSD. Only if Sony was releasing the PS5 Pro... 😆

You can easily get a PS5 usb hub and plug it into the front of the PS5 slim and OG ps5 (which is what i have done on my PS5) no need to waste time plugging USBs in the back of the console.

The top is glossy to annoy you. It's so it reflects light onto your TV screen to annoy the heck out of you. You then get to wish you had a place to put your console slightly behind the TV face except you already had your screen back as far as possible to make watching it better... So sell your entertainment center, wall mount etc and move the TV further from the wall behind it.

quick question. So the ps5 slim come with some additional storage (1tb in total) compared to the og ps5, and when you opened the ssd cover there was nothing in there are you added a 2tb ssd. Does that mean the ps5 now has a total of 3 tb or you just replaced what was being used and now have 2 tb?

Just bought the MWIII bundle. I wanted a digital, couldn’t find any anywhere. Only the disc model. I don’t do any hard copies anymore. Haven’t for three years now. If you already have a ps5, I’m not sure why you’d purchase this. This is a console for people who don’t already have a ps5. Highly recommend going PS Plus Extra tier membership, lots of great games to play on the PlayStation version of gamepass. The primo membership offers the classic catalog, if that appeals to you.
