I used to run a pub in the lake district. We used to get very low flying jets coming over, for the sole practice of training for the pilots. A family sitting at one of my picnic tables were complaining about the 'noise', saying that it was ridiculous. I asked them "are these lads supposed to practice over hostile territory?". I told them straight, the pilots are British, Dutch, American and German, and that is the sound of freedom

Have non US forces stopped bringing over their own weapons now? Lately i keep seeing sims conducted within the US, with US m4/AR's. Nothing wrong with that i guess, as i suspect we in the UK will be going over to a new AR platform in some form or other before long anyways, (Though i'd not put a bet on the MOD in trying to foil that) the Royal Anglian Regiment are currently issued with the SA80 A2/3. Seems odd that they don't seem to have, or be allowed to train with them.

@@jonathonmaloney9953 Right, brit here. This is UK military, for several reasons: 1: The equipment here used by them (aside from the rifles) is british. The camo used is not US multicam, its British Multiple Terrain Pattern (MTP), furthermore, the "webbing," or PLCE (personal load carrying equipment) seen here is british, infact the vast majority of it comes from the Virtus Issue program, although a minority are also from the Osprey issuement program. 2: The rifles. You mentioned the weapon systems used by them are indeed, the M4A1, the reason being is simply logistics. Can you imagine the sheer amount of paperwork, logistical measures, security measures that take place for the Ministry of Defence to transport several hundred live rifles overseas? Its a lot, a fuck ton, if you pardon my french. 3: The accents. Mate, I don't know what sort of accent you think it is, but its 110% british, specifically a North London or Essex accent. hope this helps.

@@corruptcape2776 everybody uses multicam. Everybody. The rifle they're using is m4a1. That's not british. Go ahead and send me proof. Post links.

@@Scaleyback317are you British? Do you like the USA and Americans?
@Scaleyback3173 ай бұрын
@@TheIceman567 Yes for the former. I lived in both Californian and Florida for a couple of years in each - Enjoyed the experience even if I have no great desire to relive it. I'm married to an American lady and have been so for 37 years (she is now a British citizen) Most Americans are good hearted, generous and friendly. Served as an integral part of two American units over the years and enjoyed the experience. My in-laws, of course still live there and I wish only good things for the US in general as it would impact on half my family. Like any other nation on earth, of course they have their fair share of arseholes and tossers but in general, pleasant people to live, work and play with. Why do you ask?
