I did - meant to do a wear test, but UGH! Got sidetracked. It held well, but I did get shiny in my tzone - would def recommend using a matte primer and doing the same steps for more of a matte look!

I love the way the look came out! But I have found that a couple of JP eyeshadow are a little difficult to work with as well. But I always like the way the look comes out. The second blush was beautiful 😍 I’ve only tried the matte camo concealer. I don’t do dewy! Lol

ok, so I am in love w/cream highlighters these days! I use it all of the time, I've put powdered highlighters on pause. If you haven't gotten darker, sounds like you can stick with your current foundation, sis! You got this!

Yes, I do agree with you about only policing ourselves 1-Its best to concentrate on self and 2-Nowadays we have to be careful about what we say, and how we say because all jokes aside there are legit some folks who will take things to the extreme (drama, violence,etc) and I'm not about that life. I also understand about making decisions to do better for our mental health. In my opinion when you take that extra step to look good you do feel better inside and out. My parents (r.i.p) always instilled in me since they adopted me that as a black female especially in the predominantly white suburb that I grew up in, I always had to do better "than them". The Nars soft matte foundation has become my favorite!!! If I don’t want it too matte (I’m like you so I kinda always want matte lol) I use a more hydrating primer. I definitely had to get a lighter shade of foundation since being inside sooo much during the pandemic. I’m hoping I can get a lil bit of some color this summer lol I have my darker foundation shades waiting! I’m wondering if the Charlotte Tilbury spray would do the same as the all nighter 🤔. I go back and forth between them 😘😘

Eye color really came together at the end. Not really feeling ginger on lip, could be because it was too cool toned for such a warm eye look. I typically use the all nighter setting spray, but not that one. I didn't try with a matte foundation, so maybe I'll do that and see how it comes out.

I always change my foundation and concealer in the summer with a darker serum foundation and luminous concealer. I DO NOT LIKE MY FACE MATTE!! My skin looks like it's depressed when it's mattw.
