Kaede the products do work but there are many circumstances.. I work in the cosmetics industry and the hardest part about every product is to find a consistent formula that doesn't change over a long period of time... most pigments are powders and some of them are difficult to dissolve or might react with other ingredients, so it's different for every shade. the particles tend to flow down because of gravity causing it to separate from the rest of the formula depending on how it is stored all the way from the manufacturer to the customer. the formula itself must work both on the skin and in the tube, so besides the color, finding other compatible ingredients is challenging, too. It needs the right consistency to make it easy to apply, but then also dry completely on the skin but also stay liquid in the tube. It's a difficult process and maybe UD was under pressure because they wanted to keep up with other brands that are bringing out liquid lipsticks too.

I think he made that choice to make the packaging more friendly to holding more product? Also he likes long wands for application. So unless he just scaled up the size of his packaging (which doesn't make sense from both a cost stand point or a utility standpoint for the buyer because of ease of travel). So he appreciates a longer handle but he also recognizes that what you buy unless you are straight up a luxury brand is the product not the packaging. So he can appreciate having a longer handle and less product but I think he would prefer to give his buyers more product than handle XD

Jeffree I just had the funniest idea ever! Do a makeup palette that looks like a CD case! Use one of your old album arts like Beauty Killer. Where the CD tray should be is the makeup palette ! But this is on UD's website about the Liquid Lipsticks: "Vice Liquid Lipstick gives you endless color in three steps. First, line lips with the precise applicator; then apply one coat to fill. Do not press lips together. If desired opacity is achieved, let dry. A little goes a long way, but for more coverage, apply a second coat. Let dry completely and you’re good to go." So Nikita kept pressing her lips together so I'm sure that didn't help. I didn't see Jeffree doing it, but the editing doesn't let us know. I'm no expert by any means, though, and if they didn't like it even before lip-pressing... *shrug*
