W.B. Yates is a famous Irish poet so would be perfect if you wanted an Irish/literature connection. Also I love Kamou! If you wanted a Hawaiian link you could have the nickname Maui.. love it!

Bristol totally hits the mark for me! And I did really like the name Farris with that spelling too! I have two boys with L names: Lyric and Linkin so my third name has to be an L! I totally saw that cool man name Lenny! Love it! Thanks for this trendy list! It was super cool to hear some of the shout out names too like Hendricks. This list makes me think of some more names like Maverick, Cormack, Devlin, Corbin (Corbin Dallas from 5th Element), Carvid.

If you have a third boy, how about "Lennox"?
@bakerbrewz2 жыл бұрын
@@MichielBLKorte I personally love the name Lennox…. But my husband and his Dad are both HVAC guys and Lennox is a brand of furnace so they totally don’t want their kid named after that haha 😂 so hard to please!

There are very few (about 70 according to Wikipedia) Yates' pubs left in the UK today, many former Yates' locations are now Slug and lettuces'. The first ever Yates' is now a MacDonalds.

Farris but spelled Ferris is also associated with the movie Ferris Bueller. They spend the day exploring the city in the movie, so I think that's another great urban connection! My favorite edgy name, that I never really see anywhere, is Zephyr. The nickname could be Zeph, which sounds a bit like an alternative to Seth. A zephyr is a breeze, which comes from the Greek God Zephyrus (who personified the west wind).

Love Faris/Ferris, Bruno, Franz, Idris, Gable, Sidney/Sid, Roswell, Claudio, and Thames! Adding on, there's a city in my region called Corvallis- the town founder combined Latin roots for the meaning "heart of the valley" and I've always thought it would make a really handsome name!

I liked the film Ferris Bueller! Not keen on most of these names. I think of that evil boy called Sid from Toy Story and Lenny from Of Mice and Men. Gable and Gabriel are nice but you just know boys aged 10 and above will be cruel with the nickname.

Love these as always SJ ❤️ Okay baby name lovers, advise needed!!! I love the nickname Laney or Lainey for a girl but my husband isn’t a fan of Elena or Alaina (he also likes the nickname Lainey or Laney but we want a more formal name for when she grows up). Any thoughts on a longer name that can be shortened to the nickname Lainey or Laney?!

I second this! My husband and I are from Nigeria and the US but we're living in the UK. Definitely struggling to find a way to choose a name that honours both heritages while keeping it easily pronounceable for everyone while also having a meaning that feels special to us both. All self-imposed pressure and we're probably overthinking it. But baby is due soon and we need help!

I LOVE the name Brett! Such a cool guy name. The double T is just so attractive in boys names. My New surname (recently married) has two t's but this still could be a contender. Gable - never thought of this one! I'm putting this on my list as I love Gabriel but it's super popular especially within a lot of my Christian friends/church.

I adore Hart and Gable! I'm most likely done growing my family but I still enjoy your channel. I got my daughter's name from one of your videos a long time ago. Sylvie - meaning from the forest very fitting for her being born in Alaska. Crazy how we pick a name we think is rare then it keeps becoming more popular after you use it.

hello SJ how are you ? the day i have been waiting for has finally arrived where i get to message you my husband and I are expecting ❤️ so my filipino husband JP and I are expecting in May 2023. Our surname is Marzan We have decided to keep the gender as a surprise! at this stage for a boy we love BEAUX and KEONI (when i first met JP (John Paul) he told me he was half filipino half hawaiian to make is more exotic and it worked. Keoni means John in hawaiian so that’s why we like it as it has some meaning For a girl we like SIERRA as it means from a mountain (JP’s home in the phillipines is Baguio which is in the mountain area, so again has meaning. His gorgeous niece has so kindly decided to donate and carry the child for us. A huge and beautiful thing she is doing. Both our mothers have passed (Florentina & Estelle) We are looking for ideas and suggestions for both genders if you could help us out ❤️
@louisacoote23372 жыл бұрын
I think you should choose something simple, as your child might already be a bit more unusual, having two dads. Unfortunately, people can still be hideously unkind to same sex parents and their children!

could you do a video based on angel numbers… so look at the number for love, success, miracles etc. and find the name at that number on the charts. like the number 77 is for luck so the name at number 77 on the charts. you could also talk about number names and names associated with numbers like ‘Ivy’ meaning IV meaning 4. i hope this make sense… loved this video SJ 💗
