Brissy born & raised. This was very well put together. Sadly ALOT of these places are now gone...... The city & most of the burbs are not the same, nor are the people 😔

I'm not sure what's more sad: the fact that so many great, old style properties have been abandoned to degrade into an unlivable state, or that there are homeless people and families experiencing financial distress paying overpriced rents whilst real estate like this is unused.

Real estate like this sits unused because the cost of repair it too great a cost for most, search for abandoned houses in Detroit or Alabama, beautiful Queen Anne style masterpieces, falling to ruin.

Ta for posting. Need to warn you that you will still be doing this in 30 years time. When we were kids any empty house/building/drain/tunnel/cave we came across got explored. We assumed it was not allowed but that was half the fun. Nearly 50 & still do it. Big advantage now is camera/phones mean its possible to revisit them without relying on memory. Keep it up

Aww, that white house with the awesome bathroom was across the road from me. It got knocked down a few months ago. I'm glad I now know what was in there! It was beautiful!

Hey there I'm into the 10 th minute of this vid and as a keen beginner Dslr user and a person that has watched thousands of urban explorer video's like ,Josh's,Carpetbagger, and of course Adam the woo and Dan Bell, am so glad someone especially a female has put together such a well documented ,beautifully shot, video such as this. Your totally right hardly anyone does Brisbane or Au for that matter WELL DONE 5 out of 5 stars for you and your work.I only wish more females would get out there and do abandon video's as a guy myself I find it refreshing to have a female presenting such high with a knowledge and different perspective, the guys are good but you are a pioneer in this field and it's refreshing .I also like your relaxed ,kickback style. Please keep those videos coming. I live on the Gold Coast and as I'm sure you know anything with history to it gets ripped down overnite which saddens me. Anyway Peace out to you. regards Dave

wow im so surprise when i saw the camel in that photo album 5:45. thats at jerdong park in brunei darussalam. once a very grand and beautiful themepark when i use to play as a kid but now its desserted as well. looking at those 3 other picture, its all from brunei, looks like he must have live and worked there in the past. truly an amazing find, what are the odds to find something related to brunei like this.

Boggles my mind that there are so many abandoned buildings and then you see so many homeless out on the streets and they are not allowed to use these places to get out of the cold and heat a start for them at least

I really like this video, it's an interesting topic that's been very well put together. Do you ever sleep in these places? I've never had dreams as vivid as when I sleep in a place that's potentially unsafe

Awesome - loved it. Always been an Urb Ex at heart and keen to see what Brisbane has to offer. One key question lingers though - what about snakes?! Have you encountered many? What have you done when you have encountered them? Do you take any measures to avoid snake bites etc?

Was that a pianola ..player piano? The very first way you could buy your favourite song & take it home to play & listen to. Before the pianola rolls the only way to have music at home was if someone knew how to play piano.

In 1934, Hitler sent a delegation of Nazies to this city; the resultant hybrid of British Old School and (what was then) German New School may have been terminated of its Overlord Effect, c.1982, but one wonders how much of that Knowing carries on today, and be seen of its Outcomes in places such as these.

these places are not really abandoned somebody owns them even if its a developer who plans to remove the house on a truck or tear it down so you are still trespassing.
