Growing up in our small town Estrella Mountain ranch out in Goodyear,AZ was the best as a kid since out backyard was the estrella mountains and we could go out and forage for hours! 20 years later and man do I miss being a kid exploring that desert all day long, they even have an old mine in the mountains! I smoked cuban tobacco, and it was the same way. Real light, floral and uplifting, almost like a pure nicotine rush, because I had no idea what I was doing and harvested the leaf when it turned yellow. Im thinking if I picked it when it was green and cured it in a barn it would have smoked like a stogey or Burley with alot of bite, like a normal tobacco experience. I got the seeds from a friend of a friend who was growing it, probably for backyard cigars and got some seeds for decorative patio plants because she liked the flowers.

You should try growing some cactus from seed some time. Those fish hooks barrels are one of the easiest to grow from seed

@do_less those fruits you ate usually have a bunch in the center if they got pollinated that season. If you check a handful of fruits you'll likely find at least on with seeds. Then just Google "baggie method cactus seedlings" and follow the instructions, it's pretty easy. Saguaro are also pretty vigorous from seed too

South mountain near there, my friends and I would go up to the top where there's three saguaro in a triangle and in the center all the cacti have these big black holes on their sides facing the center. Also there was a weird werewolf guy that was walking up the trail as the sun was going down. I mean we are headed down cause it's getting dark and this guy howled once we got past him. But as passing he opened up his body towards us, with his hands like you would think a person holding their hands by their side wide open like he had claws. it was a trip the cacti out there is strong. But for real I believe in werewolves after that.
