What a missed opportunity for a collab with Nick Pileggi! Two gods of the KZbin Planttheon! Oh well. It's always nice to have the great plant goddess herself in any video. 😁🌿

Is this the shop that Nick Pileggi used to work? Bcoz I recognized the space. And the lady mentioned that there was a man on Instagram, plant people, that helped pushing the business up to the point where it is today. I guess it was Nick Pileggi. HAHAHHA. I could be wrong.

I remember when I lived in south Philly a few years ago, and everyone would get their flower boxes and containers from here. You could tell because we all had the same ones 😂. So happy that they are growing and expanding now 😊🙌

I've got to get to Philly for the plant shops! Ill Exotics, now this place is on my list of places to go now. Also I wanted to tell you I was recently in Syracuse New York, and found this amazing woman-owned small business plant boutique called "Adopted Roots" in downtown Syracuse. Two sisters opened the shop and they have the place done up so beautifully, full of so many plants, including the trending rare ones like PPP, and Silver swords :) If you're ever passing through that way

Nice tour and tips about scents and flowering. Looking for that Hoya. Do you have any videos about aesthetic plant displays, in order to enhance their natural beauty? This means color, height, location, materials, shape and style of a pot or vessel? I would love to spoil each plant with its own 'personal' space, style and display design. Are there any dealers who specialize in this, so that you could tour through them? Nothing replaces education but learning by watching helps too. Thanks.

I’ve had the macrophylla for almost two years now and I struggle to get the plant to produce leaves let alone bloom. Lol. I’ve had it in a skylight, NE window and green house. Nothing. I’m now trying a sw window🤷🏻♀️

About the ruby cascade .... does it need full sun and top light? This plant is often sold in the succulent section of big box stores is why I’m wondering.

I'm interested in purchasing your course. I intended to jump to a few sections of the course first since I have six plants arriving in a couple days; however, if I understand correctly from the FAQ, the entire course is not available upon purchase. Could you approximate the length of time it will take for the following sections to unlock: III-F, III-H, IV-B. If it is somewhere between 1-and 30 days, I will digress in my rush to get this knowledge but look forward to the full course eventually.

Thanks! I live in the area and really enjoy the store but it is SO OVERPRICED. The same plants as other local plant stores (not even a block away like ILLExotics - also featured on this channel) are generally 75% more expensive. Compared to Stump (another local plant store, the prices are 100% more).

Fishhooks and bananas are two different cultivar types. Bananas are stubbier and thicker and fishhooks longer and thinner. Much like the sinilar but different string of pearls vs. Teardrops. That owner was so shady not mentioning nick by name, being vague and kind of downplaying his role getting them out into the public eye. I'm not a fan of that.

That’s just something. When covid hit people want house plants instead of planting vegetable for emergency purposes. Dang humanity is something huh. House plant is great but the idea of not planting vegetables is very telling how the market control the society.
