Cincinnati was literally in the exact same position 2 years ago. They bring in a brand new coach, he drains all the toxic, washed up, and bad attitude players, drafts Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase and brings in a winning mindset and change the culture. Its a process. Rome wasn't built in a day...

I agree with everything you're saying. That was a good game and the Jags showed a lot of improvement. Trevor always handles thing well. He has never once blamed a loss on anyone but himself. Trevor handles the media really good. On the other hand Urb talks so low and he acts like every hame is the end of the world. Trevor and the team doesn't act like that at all. Urban needs to speak up and look people in the eye instead of looking down all the time. Speak with conviction and own everything you and the tram does. And don't do stupid things lile you recently did. Act like a real coach. Act like you are a leader of men. You stand up and let people know that your team is getting better all the time. Don't worry about the losses. Learn from them and move on. Stand up like a man and speak up instead of whinning to the media.

Make no mistake about this. Urban is not built for a rebuilding process. He has never been able to handle losing on any long term basis. I just hope this does not effect his overall health. If it does then he will be lucky to last one year. He is wound tight and he is going to have to change his ways on dealing with losses or he will not be long for this job. JMO

I have no problem with Urban Meyers demeanor. They were very close except for a couple of plays that didn't go their way. Losing in jax has be so tolerable for so long and people are sick of it. If Urb was doing the status quo of his predessors in jax i would would be concerned and saying "same ole same ole" Urban Meyer came to Jax as winner and he will leave Jax as a winner. Jimmy J. was 1-15 his first year right but yet left with 2 superbowls. Slow your roll bro!

First of all, Jim just being as soap opera as he can be about “Urb”. I guess that’s his shtick. Sports soap opera commentator. Totally ruling the world there Jim. I’m sure “Urb” looks up to your accomplishments. Second of all, you can spin the whole “Meyer can’t handle losing” drama all you want. And it’s true, he can’t handle losing worth a damn. But perhaps look at the other side of the coin which is that what Meyer really can’t handle is the idea that losing is not only acceptable but to be taken with a shrug and a paycheck. Welcome to the big leagues this is how we roll here. This idea that in the NFL guys just expect to lose and should be ok with that is not a problem in Meyers head or emotions it’s a problem with the NFL in general. If all a lot of those players are concerned about is cashing checks then they are losers, even when they win. Meyer wants winners. Not just players that can win games, but players that care just as much about competition as they did in college or high school. It’s about more that money or glory or trophies or fame to Meyer. It’s about if you line up against an opponent in anything in life then you either eat your opponent or your opponent eats you. Which is true. And everyone gets eaten sometimes. But this idea that it’s acceptable or “no big deal” is pure cancer to him. If he doesn’t last in the NFL that will be why. Not a lack of talent, I’m sure he knows that will take time. But a lack of commitment. A lack of determination to win every down every Sunday against every opponent. If he can’t get a team to share that mentality, then yea, he might as well go back to college where winning means as much to the players as it does to Urban Meyer.
