Also key to turning on the foil is speed. Once you get about half way through the turn move back hand to the same handle as front hand then drop front hand back after. After u come out of turn with some speed then change your feet. There is a lot more going on then I can type in the comments but hope that helped

Saw a guy last year on the River Thames near Weybridge on an electric motorised foil board with no wing needed. It was a beautiful evening with a lovely sunset and this guy just came gliding along right up on the foil. He was flying along and it looked so cool watching it disappear into the distance from the bridge overhead. I looked them up when i got home. They are 'only' about £11,000-£15,000....wow!!! You can afford one though Sam, they look like great fun, and a tank full of juice for your yankee pickup truck probably costs about the same at the moment🙂!

Really great progression for first time wingfoiling!! You might wanna put the mast a little more to the front to get more control with your front foot. When learning to jibe gain speed first and when doing the turn bring the wing over your head with the front hand like an umbrella and release your back hand. When you are half way through bring your back hand to the front handle to become your new front hand and grab the back handle with your new back hand. Thats it, now you stand switch in the board. To change feet then, push the board up a little and put your backfoot to the front when the board rises which gives you a little time to bring your new backfoot back, thats it ;) Have fun!!

Indeed 😂 I started wearing a helmet during manoeuvre training, the foil can be a b**ch 😅 What I love about wingfoiling is that you can do it nearly everywhere, also in the middle of Vienna where I live, so bring your gear when you are in Austria next time 😃 btw: I received my new pilgrips last week and tested them on the weekend: really awesome to ride!! thank you so much!!

Don't know about wing foiling, but I've done quite some windsurfing and I think you need to try to go more perpendicular to the wind direction, you'll be able to generate more speed that way

If you want to turn using the wind it is not that difficult, if you bring the wing to the back of the board you will turn to where your back is headed. Into the wind. If you bring your wing to the front of your board you will turn to your belly. Away from the wind. But you can also use feet pressure (like a skateboard). If you push on your heels you will go in the wind, if you push un your toes you will go away from the wind.

Re wingfoiling easily done look where you want to go forget about the wing the hands will follow automagically… maybe practice on skate helps and if you can get a duotone wing with the bar instead handles that will make your progression way quicker 🎉🎉🎉
