I look forward to seeing experiment with different fibers and thicknesses on canvas. I think a really chunky knit somehow woven onto a canvas and could be a statement piece, or even a multimedia piece if you add paint and other things. your pieces are beautiful.

If you mix the paint with fabric medium it will seep better into all the fibers and prevent the paint from looking clumpy or cracking

@@tinalemac I've seen chalk paint on used on fabric just slightly watered down. Was done on pillow covers and sofa upholstery. Debbie's Design Diary is the channel I saw the sofa done on.

@@anacolombiamunoz8243 it's an additive that's sold in the same department as the paints that you add to acrylic craft paint to make it easier to paint on fabric. Also it makes the paint dry softer and more flexible for wearables.

I might try your yin yang embroidery in the future! And like you, I also love moon designs, and that's because I relate the loml to that symbol lol. And she said that I'm her sun. So I might do a twist on the yin yang and actually do the shapes of the moon and the sun instead of just the two circles. I'm also planning to make a channel of my own abt fashion, hobbies and diys too! I hope when I launch you can support me too! I love your diys Tina! More power to u! 💖

Embroidering the canvas is something I haven't seen anyone do yet, and I like the double fringe on the wall hanging. I'm going to give the embroidery a go when I come up with a design, but will paint the plain sections with baking soda paint first to add texture as I don't like the look of canvas.

Follow Trent and Allie, they used to travel in there van and met The Normadic Movement in their bus conversion and travelled together, but now each gone their separate ways,one building a home in the mountains and the other brought some land to build a community who are like minded and will share it with others to build in the hills of Panama. Elysian English from Canada, Denise Bangiyev ,both these are fixing up there houses. Liz Besanson who will thrift and make mid century things along with Nastazsa. Then theres' my little homestead' which I started following beginning of this yr that if you try to start from the beginning they build mud clay houses in the desert, lovely family great to watch when you've crafts to do yourself. For something a little different Nerdforge she make models that light up and smoke to painting to making a van into a campervan. Then lastly Mr Carrington who loves thrift shops in England and has just landed himself a full time slot on a new tv lunch time programme ( this k hes on every friday England

Absolutely loved the yin yang picture, you've done so many projects that I'm gonna have a go at near xmas time for my nearly adult kids for there rooms when they come back from university. So far I've painted some small canvas in blended colours for my daughter and written inspirational quote on for her in her room at uni, same for son but in solid colours. Tip for perfect edges every time: instead of tracing in pencil, trace in a thick sharpie that is as close to the paint colour as possible. Saves time and gives cleaner end results. Here is an example that I did for a project a couple of years ago: facebook.com/CafeChurch/photos/2854350121254808
