I am planning on doing Urban Planning for my PG degree...I was really scared that I'll get caught with plans, regulations and such office work while I'm more of a creative, concept based, emotional responsive and environmental designer...this gives me hope to both conceive design on a larger scale while not giving up on my design instincts 🤩

I’ve always been glad I studied & gained a degree in Landscape Arch w/ Planning Minor. All too may straight Planning degrees have no sense of built environment, courses are to hypothetical & day to day planners deal with community development.

Is it possible to study urban planning as an undergraduate, but also explore architecture as well?

Yes if you get your masters degree in architecture. Although it usually takes 3 year to get a masters in architecture if you don’t have a bachelors in architecture. It’s easier to major in architecture and transition to urban planning than the inverse.
