Urban powerline trail offroading in my Ford Maverick to find new SECRET fishing and camping spots along a calm creek.
In this video we take the truck down a powerline trail right in the middle of the city to do some mild offroading and try to get back into a secret fishing spot that holds some nice bluegill and redear sunfish.
The truck performed flawlessly and I was very impressed with how it handled some of the deep loose sand along the trail.
We caught a few fish, then cooked on the tailgate of the Maverick before heading back out for the day.

That's awesome! I bet the wait for TWO Mavericks was double as painful as having to wait for just one 🤔🤣 The FX4 Exoboost is in my opinion the most well-rounded version that you can get. It mixes the FX4 capability eith the great fuel economy of the other models. Awesome trucks!

Nice video! How's the Maverick treating you? I, too, am an angler, both freshwater and saltwater, but have been hauling my stuff in a Subaru. Are you able to fit your rods in your bed without any issues? Would 7'6 rods be able to fit diagonally? Have you ever tried hauling a kayak? Tight lines.

Nice! This got me excited to explore some trails later this summer when my FX4 arrives. What height Xtrusion rack did you get? I'm plan on getting one, but need it to clear the cab for a kayak.

I went with the 16" so it should be nearly flush with the cab. I didn't want mine to be much higher than that, but it should be JUST high enough for my kayak to be able to go up there on a cradle. I plan to make a video about exactly that once my rack is installed that will likely be helpful to you for determining what height you want to go with 😁
