This shows my 1997 Polaris Sportsman 500 ATV with the Warn ProVantage 54" plow (78954) clearing sidewalks for a property rental company in Richmond, VA. This is from a snowfall we got on February 12th, 2021. I also plow residential and some light commercial driveways with this same machine, but the ATV just eats up sidewalks like nobody's business.
For this video, I just stuck the GoPro on my helmet and let it roll. It gives a decent idea of my route in the city. Unfortunately, the camera ran out of battery before I was able to finish, and it left out some of the coolest properties I plow. Stay tuned for more snowplowing videos in the future!

I like using the ATV to plow snow especially on sidewalks because it is the exact width of the sidewalks. Some like using machines like the Toro Multiforce or the Ventrac to plow sidewalks, but I have come to love using the ATV because it doesn't require trailering to each property. It saves SO much time not having to tie the machine down, find a place to park the truck and trailer, untying, and repeating. The ATV has AWD, so it could be argued that its even safer than a car on the road when there is snow on the ground, and I don't think anyone questions me when I am clearly out doing a job, obeying traffic laws, and have strobe lights for visibility. It is essentially the same thing as seeing a front end loader or backhoe driving down the street on its way to each jobsite.
Be sure to check out some of my other ATV snowplowing videos! I always love watching how other people do jobs like snow plowing on KZbin. It gives the sense that I am along for the ride as they work, hopefully you get the same feeling from this. It keeps me company to have you all along for my snowplow route, and I hope you enjoy!
