My birthday is 5th Jan and it's exactly what you said. It used to always be the first day back at school. You takes cakes to work and everyone says 'I'm on a diet, I've eaten too much over Christmas". Yep mates ask what are we doing for your birthday but they don't really want to do anything coz they don't get paid til end of Jan. Worst birthday ever. 😂

Having all in one power banks saves a lot of weight I have a unit made by an American company called Halo Bolt it does exactly the same thing but is about the diameter of a book and half the thickness of your unit, it has been a worthwhile purchase I have helped people when their battery has let them down I would recommend something like that to all drivers as you don't need to hunt for someone with jump leads. Gary you say that in some places you feel uneasy the police owl messaging service recommend an app to put on your phone called Walk Safe it gives you a map showing all incidents where you are using your phones location some people say that it is scare mongering but I say it makes you aware of any issues and take appropriate actions to stay safe.
@TravelwithGaryandAmika Жыл бұрын
Totally agree. I honestly wouldn't be without mine now. Zero worry about eh t could be a pain in the backside event. I've installed walk safe. Looks good for a risk assessing. Thanks for this

I'm a right tosser! How the hell do you get qualified in that?????
@mrswelsh2467 Жыл бұрын
🤭 whoops! I didn’t mean it like that!! As an instructor for the ACF, had to be qualified in everything, I was a SAA instructor / assessor, KGVI (to be an ECO) Also RCO / ARD (ranges) FAW blah blah blah, and loads of AT, WMP, ML, kayaking, assault courses…. If you do the instructor thing properly the quals are equivalent to a NVQ level 6 (degree) That’s how I got to “teach” in the school. Don’t get me started on all that though Gary, I’ll send you to sleep 😴 GMACF HQ is at Holcombe where the K Factor is.

Happy belated birthday Gary 🎂 🥳 We’ve found Buxton really nice on the couple of occasions we have been there. Nice to hear about your school days and trot down memory lane, surprising that things either really change or are as you remember them. We are really looking forward to visiting the Peak District this year as we didn’t get around to it last year. PSI is much easier isn’t it 😀The jump starters are great 👍 All the best, David & Rachel 👍
