I got pierced with a larger ring :) love it because the other side of my nose is a stud. Healing was a breeze as long as you clean it properly & don’t touch it

I don’t feel like my nostril is healing super easy ! It’s the worst piercing to heal and I have 7 . I am almost 8 months in and when I switched to a hoop it got irritated and got a piercing bump!

@@sprout_456 No , I do it right . I clean twice a day with neilmed saline wash and then I leave it the hell alone ! And not to mention , I had a professional change it the second time ..What am I missing ?🤔

Hey man I just got my nose pierced I got 2 on the left side now I did twist it a bit cause I thought I had to buy I haven't done that since then and when I was at work taking my glasses off to put protection sides on my glasses before working with glass I hit my piercing but I do keep it clean I got it done Saturday I just hope it still heals good

⁠@@kingdon9690 septum was easy to heal. it didn't take very long. maybe a month for it to heal and i washed it with gentle antibacterial soap and applied a saline solution called bactum or something like that. nose took me longer to heal because i'm a little oily on my nose . but as long as you use antibacterial soap and a saline solution at least 2 times a day. it'll heal just fineee

I got my first nose piercing yesterday.. I actually went to a professional Piercing Studio, and they literally ask me what I wanted, a hoop, or a stud…I told them that I wanted the hoop (obviously I didn’t know that it’s not good for the first piercing because of heeling) and they told me alright then let’s do the hood.. then I said that In the future I want also change it to the stud and she said I will make the whole like that that you can now start with the hoop and then after a couple of months you can change it to a stud.. so now I don’t know what the fuck is right or wrong 😂 am I fucked now because I have a hoop?

You need to blow your nose differently and in the healing process clean it after you sneeze

Lifelong allergy sufferer here 👋🏽 just got my nostril pierced 9/28/22. I used to kinda pinch my nostrils when I'd blow my nose, I just started pinching at the crease so I wasn't touching the gem, easy adjustment honestly. Snagging was the biggest issue, but not really major, only a couple painful snags (both times were a knitted blanket while sleeping...my own unconscious fault) and piecing was fresh then, like 2wks old. The style of stud I chose was also a contributing factor I later learned, but I really wanted a gold stud 😩. I now have a silver bezel stud, no issues since! Sounds gross, but you can't pick your nose the same for sure! The backing on the jewelry will prevent you from being able to scrape that side of your nostril on the inside and hooking the back can snag from the inside and hurt, like a quick pinch, nothing crazy. Depending on where you go and the type of jewelry you get can affect things. I had a longer back piece at first to allow for swelling as it healed. I got it downsized around 8wks, but probably could've/should've done it at 6wks. The swelling was gone so it had more movement, I foolishly tried to remove it to see the inside of my nose better, but I have press fit jewelry and I thought I had a good grip, but I did not! I ended up flicking myself in the nose hard inside and out, which caused an INSTANT bump and it bled (1mo in). So I had to wait for that to heal before downsizing. I LOVE my piercing & no regrets! Biggest tips is don't overdo it with the cleaning, don't touch it, & don't try to remove your jewelry yourself, particularly of it's not fully healed 😂! I was told 6-12mos for healing time
