ive got a bit of a problem, i got 5 quail chicks and 2 turned out to be male , they have tons of space and all different environments but the two males are fighting (and i think mating which looks quite aggressive) should i take 1 male out or both , i only got them for the eggs and its a constant pain at the moment becuse the females obviously want to get away so are just running up and down the wire, ...they were so chilled up to this week.

I would 100% separate them if you are seeing aggression. We usually keep 1 male per every cage with the females and it helps.

Do you have any recommendations on bedding, feed, and a heat lamp I can buy locally at say, Walmart or Tractor Supply?

Hi David, yes here are some recommendations from Amazon but you can also head to your local Tractor Supply and they will have a lot of the same items: Bedding (amzn.to/3Q8QJDo) Feed - you will want a Gamebird feed (amzn.to/3zpyUcs) Heat Lamp - amzn.to/3vxiA8d & amzn.to/3BB87wm

Do you know if my quail chicks would be alright in the adult hatching time cage if i have a heat pad or lamp?

Good question, we tried to do the same with a heat lamp and when they are just born it is hard because they can fit through the holes and fall out. We ended up using zip ties to make the holes smaller and this helped once they were 1-2 weeks older.
