You could of used a ac dc rectifier to change ac to dc current its a ring of 3 diodes. Rs electrical sell them.

Ayup Neil please can you point me in the right direction for a mercedes sprinter double swivel seat base mate i cant find one anywhere its a 2005 and im not sure if the double seat base size would be the same as younger models you may know more than me.

Black negative Yellow positive From what I remember mate . But 99% sure , Pretty sure the green and blue are pc temp regulators or some thing .

Iv tested it on the motorway and so far so good but I know what you mean about the flappy flap in about . We shall have to see the outcome of that one mate
