I used a bit of softwood to help put the trim on my kitchen unit in the van. Does a bit less damage than the hammer. 😊. Its looking nice, you just need the wife to keep you away from the electric kitchen tools so you don't keep sticking screwdrivers in them and breaking them. That was nearly as funny as watching you make a hilarious cockup in forgetting to remove the pin lock before attempting to fit it to the bracket. 😅 Nice one. 👍😊

Cracking job mate to do that quality of work with a couple of old drills and an food blender, I doff my cap sir well done work top and tiles look great, did panic set in though when you grouted them and they turned grey and can't see them any more ha, I done a bar top with bottle tops couldn't see them after thought I ruined them but bit of elbow grease spot on and surprising how much difference grout makes 👍

hi tom , the trick we use is we use metal cutting blades , there a lo thinner and have finer blades on them plus double the teeth for cutting as well, which all makes a finer cut . hope this helps mate

Cracking job mate, Just wondering Neil, how much did all that cost you? I’m a professional carpenter of 25 years and when I done the maths it wasn’t economical to build the the pod myself. I mean the time alone working on the pod means I’m not on site earning so ended up buying a bespoke pod from evomotiondesign that is purpose built for the sprinter crafter, £750 for the pod, £300 for the hob/sink and £550 for the fridge. So £1600 without an oven, I think I will miss not having an oven though. Cheers 🍻

I’d say wood £50 worktop £80 cooker £500 and the firnature bord £150 sink £40 tap £20 then probably £40 on runnnera abs locks and hinges £50 backsplash £20 tiles so £950 but £450 without the cooker . Seems a lot but well worth it i think . It is for us any way and we love it

Ours is a LWB mate and no mate we have no designs like that it basically all come out of my head and a hand full of drawings . We knew what we wanted and just build from visions in my head

Hi ya John, thank you so much for the compliment it means a lot, but especially from someone who is experienced in building vans as you will know there is always something you have to find a work around on as vans are never just square or straight 😂😂 and we haven’t been called youngsters in quite some time so that has made us both smile!!! 72 isn’t old either, we believe age is just a number it’s all about mental attitude not just how many. turns around the sun you have had!! And our combined mental age some days only adds up to about 9 anyway, we do wonder how we get stuff done sometime!!! Thanks again for the lovely comment 😃
