Join us on our full time vanlife adventure as we take our self built camper to our final destination in beautiful Ireland. We head to the amazing city of Dublin where we find an amazing park up, but instead of sticking to the usual tourist hotspots, we decided to explore a different side of the city and find some hidden gems and make the most of vanlife in Ireland.
we take a scenic walk the peaceful and historic Killiney Park, where we uncover the hidden treasures of the Witch’s Hat and the mysterious Pyramid, surrounded by lush nature and tranquil views. It’s the perfect way to wrap up our Ireland journey before we head back to England. And we have an amazing experience along Dublin’s harbour, where we had the most unexpected encounter with a group of playful seals! #vanlife #dublin #urbanvanlife #travelirelad #dublinireland

You were literally just up the road from me, that's my local park an absolute paradise for the doggies. Great to see you really got the most out of Ireland instead of the usual tourist stuff and didn't spend your time moaning about the place like some other youtubers. Yep loads of seals, and you can snorkel with them too, it's a pity you didn't have time to head out to the island or check out the local pubs in the village, when your back I can give you a guided tour if you want. County Dublin both north and south has as much to offer, if not more than the city

I grew up around Dun Laoghaire. Still have family there Killiney Hill Park was and still is regular meet up place for a walk and since the cafe opened there a stop for a coffee. The views over Dublin Wicklow Dalkey island and Dun Laoghaire there are fabulous. The Dun Laoghaire area is a handy place for those not driving to stay with the dart train into Dublin city centre from there.

That was an old water pump on Killiney hill , they were all over the country in the olden days , people would go there to get water for their house , the one you showed was a modern version ,they replaced the older "big long handled" versions .When I was teenager they were still working ( I'm 66 years old )we would fill up our water bottles when cycling around in the summer , very handy .

7:57 It's an old water well pump base, You know, with a big crank arm on top. They are everywhere in Ireland. They don't remove the base because it helps seal up the well over time. It would be expensive to properly seal the well without them. 13:00 I have done 3 "Round Ireland trips" ... never made it on any of them. The truth is you have to go with the flow of where you are and when you are, not great for the planner, but what an experience every time. ps I live here 😀

Always want to see whales and dolphins, it’s a massive part of why we want to come back and spend more time exploring, Neil’s been dreaming of the dingle coast since we saw a programme on it years ago, but we don’t want to rush it

1 - don’t forget Wexford 2 - nearly every fishing harbour in Ireland has seals. They are actually a pest at this stage. Talks of culling to reduce number. 3 - Dingle peninsula is a must but don’t forget the beara too. Don’t go in winter though, be lucky to find a coffee shop. Come back in late March/ early April. Might be a bit wetter but less tourists and plenty of places open for the season.

We can’t wait to visit the places you have listed but we didn’t want to rush our way around because it’s such a beautiful county it deserves to be explored properly ♥️♥️

We are both still working remotely whilst travelling, and one of us is also studying too along side that.

You come across as honest as well so I'll ask. Some vanlifers suddenly have videos from houses!!! Yep living in a van is a fib. Some go back to mummy's and daddy's so you know they're not out there on their own, they have back up. It's nice to see genuine people 👍

The Sun newspaper need to stop writing things about people they have never spoken to, and who have zero interest in speaking to them and maybe do some actual journalism or research instead of making assumptions about people based off what they see on KZbin. People only see snippets of our lives and if they chose to make judgements about us that to us says more about their character than ours as I personally only make judgements about people through how they interact with me and treat others. Neil edits for other channels in America along side other things, and I work in customer service online (part time) whilst studying a nutrition and health course to change my career path after working full time as a manger for the past 20 years, which the course I was already doing before the move into the van but got put on hold due to illness. I can also still pick up shifts in hospitality through the indeed flex app as and when I need to, we have both worked full time all our lives sometimes having more than one job, just because we have chosen a different path and to start a new chapter in an alternative way does not mean we do not have bills to pay and do not need to have an income. And we have stated this in previous videos. Also we only found out about the Sun article through a comment on here and we are not pleased as we would not associate ourselves with them. And no we aren’t going back to mummy and daddy’s house to live, we have chosen to travel and see things before it’s too late, recent health scares made us literally look at things very differently, you never know what is around the corner, but that said if it all goes wrong we are able to provide for ourselves and do what we need to without relying on other people 😊 sorry about the rant about The Sun but it has annoyed us both and yes in total transparency we do earn from KZbin but it certainly isn’t a large amount as people think hence having other sources of income!
