That walk is not for the faint of heart. I am born and raised in Chicago now living in a suburb of Chicago. I even volunteered at the Shedd Aquarium for 10 years🥰. There are so many great moments and pop shops in Chicagoland that I am happy to share. In Wheaton near Chicago there is a coffee roaster called I Have a Bean that you can get a free cup of coffee when you walk in, no requirement of buying the coffee. And not far there are two yarny/craft shops within walking distance. Wonder times, a coffee from I have a bean and walk through the shops of downtown Wheaton.

Hi Karen, I hope you are liking the Lightweight Hipster Shawl pattern. The wrapping of the yarn you need to do should be done very loosely. My first time mine was too tight and I needed to frog back a couple of rows. Donna did mention that she wanted to pass on some of her yarns and needles because she wanted to share them. She's so generous.

Hello Zee! I'm such a lucky ducky to be graced with so many amazing people and friends in here. We had such a fun time and you are very observant - those delicious things were Tempera Oyster Mushrooms in bao (steamed buns). I thought the carpark was kind of interesting too - it had a spiral ramp on the inside for the cars to drive up and down. I would be dizzy using it, but it did look pretty.

Hi Judy, we had a fantastic trip! Thank you for the well wishes. This year it was one I did try to down play the birthday, as not to focus on myself. Some years I love to celebrate and arrange fun things to do for it, but this time round it was to celebrate Crystal's 1M. The birthday did get leaked... LOL and there were so many special surprises I did not expect.
