Gorgeous photos and video. I'm glad you didn't run into any trouble with the authorities. The site's been in the news quite regularly for the last few months so surveillance is little tighter now.

Thanks Saboru! Yeah I couldn’t find any inside shots of the last place, when searching in English or Japanese, so I assumed no one had entered yet, which was a bit sketchy. But there was no security on-site, and of the very few cameras (literally like 3?) we saw, none of them seemed on. Maybe we’ll see some CCTV footage on a television show soon… 🤷🏻♂️

@@NorbiWhitney Don't underestimate the local busybodies always ready to call the cops. Particularly when they are seeing their town becoming a magnet for all sort of visitors more interested in the decaying features of the town than in taking a hot bath.

@@saboruchan Oh for sure. We did our very best to stay out of sight of the street 99% of the time.

Amazing location! The type of place they could film a movie.

Indeed. If you’re looking for post-apocalyptic , you just need to drive down any country road in Japan though, haha.

i really like these photos, i have a roll of 35mm film ive been wanting to use when i go urbexxing and was wondering what the best iso settings etc are for low light?
@NorbiWhitney Жыл бұрын
Hi there thanks for the comment and love! Just on the off chance you don’t know - film ISO can’t be changed by changing the light meter settings. So more important is to know what ISO is the roll who have, and then I can best suggest how to use it. If you’re gonna buy a new roll though - Lomography CN 800 is a great option because you want lots of light. Hope that makes sense.
