Anytime I start researching an emulator that I’m not familiar with this channel comes up. I really can’t say thanks enough for helping preserve gaming for me and others that are passionate for the genera. Video game companies act like it is extremely difficult to preserve their previous works or like no one cares yet we have so many people that devote precious time for almost no beneficial financial gain just to preserve something so enlightening it should be considered art. For the strong effort this channel has made to preserve gaming at the very least I have to take second to click the subscribe button.

You seriously have some of the easiest to follow setup guides that work. No extra fluff! The only thing I would have liked to have seen is a little bit more test playing of different games. Xenia was notorious for not being able to run most games and I’m wondering if most of the 360 library is playable now.

Yeah, I gave up trying to use it a while back because almost every game froze, glitched or had serious issues. Especially multi-disk games.

I'm using the XENIA CANARY version on a mid range pc, and believe me I know that Xenia used to run very poorly but the on my PC xenia canary set on native 720p resolution runs very well. Most games have no issues running at their normal framerates with no slowdown...Yea you should def be using it in 2024. BTW it def runs smoother than the ps3 emulator also

It is really worth noting and disappointing it's not in the video, that you can decompress the ISOs into a folder, then run .XEX file. ISOs are usually 7-8GBs with games decompressing by anywhere by 10-90%

it actually doesn't have to be in iso. I installed a game onto a flash drive and transferred it into my PC. there's a few folders but the one you need to run the game is a data file. the game that I used is Red Dead Redemption.

ISO is just a Compressed version of all the game files just makes it easier to load the games now if you are burning CDs to play on a modded 360 you would want the raw game files like you have

Yes, it still be upscaled xenia and then downscaled by the monitor. Will look good depending on the game
