I use hard lines for most of my vacuum lines. Absolutely worth getting a good flare and bending set(s) There may be a small segment of hose I use in odd sections that are far enough from heat, but after working on diesel and rotary engines, I'm too familiar with melting or blowing off vacuum lines.

yeah its creeping a bit up top. sometimes a little more timing after peak torque can reduce the creep. or port the internal gate a little more. the inside of it where it transfers. after a certain rpm the actual speed of the air flowing past dosnt like to turn 90 bends. good job man

I used to own a 100E back in high school. I've searched for quite a while for one but they are becoming very rare in the US. Most have been butchered by being turned into drag racers. The rest have met their fate at a scrapyard. A sad fate for such a great little car.
@Urchfab Жыл бұрын
There's still a few standard ones here in the UK. fairly cheap too for an old classic.
@richardcline1337 Жыл бұрын

Hi Matt, I doubt it matters now, but did you smooth the transition from the T25 flange to the waste gate port? That helps with boost creep/problems too, I reckon you could safely take a lil more meat from the flapper side, you're no noob

Yes I did smooth that out a bit but it already looked like a nice transition so it was very minimal. Cheers

I can't recall whether that is a 1600CC or 1800CC motor. Does anyone know? My '89 MX5 1600CC makes (made) 202BHP at the wheels with the EVO turbo kit here in OZ. That feels rather quick. In the lighter Mushy Peas, I imagine it would make you smile a lot.
