This is so beautiful. I had a butterfly standing still for DAYS in my doorway. I thought it could have been dead, but I did not want to remove it unless it was alive. About a week later of standing in the same spot, suddenly it was behind me in the living room, prospering, beautifully flying around. I then let it out, and I was overwhelmed by joy and happiness. My favorite song growing up as a child was Billie Holiday's God Bless the Child. My dad would catch me listening to jazz and tell me to turn it off because music makes people make bad choices. Omg. Oh and to answer your question about what it is that I do, well....I am a Digital Wealth Advisor (Financial Advisor + Digital Marketing CEO) who specializes in retirement planning and income opportunities for folks who want to eventually quit their 9-5 and work from anywhere in the world. It is tough in this field because I am a Confident, Intelligent, Ambitious Queer Black Woman and I experience rejection often, but it never stops me. This only means that I need to change the direction of my reach, but I'm figuring it out.
