Oh, I don't think Maryam cares about those appliances and amenities since all she cares about is wondering around like a vagabond after she left Ali at least twice, which was before the doctor helping her with her latest memory loss. After she left Ali twice, she was willing to live with Saman and his "buddy" in their unlivable little hobble. Although there are some amenities like hot water or cooking facilities yet lacking at Ali's home, it's much better than that at Saman's for sure. Maryam lived without those appliances and amenities for awhile before she ever finally got them on the previous channel that she was on that was with Uncle.
