Unfortunately it is only a little know fact that they were one of the greatest rock bands in history! So underated. Brilliant song writing from the great Ken Hensley. David was one of the best rock singers ever. I loved this band as a kid and I always will.

Let's not forget to mention Bob Daisley on bass, and Lee Kerslake on drums. A legendary rhythm section. Daisley replaced Gary Thain, a magnificent bass player in his own right. They went on to record an album called the Blizzard of Oz also. You may have heard of it. With some guy named Ozzy Osbourne. Mick Box on guitar, may not be a Randy Rhodes, but fit the music nicely.

Boy - you hit THAT nail on the head. The music of the late 60’s and most of the 70’s was awesome. Actually mind boggling that SO many groups were coming out and playing fantastic music. Unfortunately most of todays music is total garbage. Don’t even want to discuss Rap music - it speaks for itself(garbage). But even the so called “rock” bands of today seem to have poor vocals and watered down simplistic music arrangements. Lucky we lived in the greatest music period.
