"Look at Yourself" and "July Morning" are my two favorite Heep songs. Always rated them right up there with Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. It never ceases to amaze me that they aren't talked about more. You always hear about Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath but never Uriah Heep and they were easily as good as any of the others.

Well I'm another Scot with a Lancashire wife and I loved the Heep from 1970 at high school. First saw them live at the Electric Gardens in Glasgow 1971 5 times up to 1975 with the great voice of David Byron. Every album up to Return to Fantasy is great.Demons and Wizards is a must listen to.Sadly only Mick Box the great guitarist is still alive the rest have left us.

I Once had the album “Very eavy very umble “ the track Gypsy was amazing Going back nearly 50 years and I still don’t know what happened to the album ! I reckon a school Mate borrowed it and never got it back lol

OMG! This brings back memories...My friends and I beat the hell out of their live album "Bronze". Those in the know - "Friday Night in Birmingham". These guys gave Deep Purple a run for their money. Some party tunes - Easy Living and Sweet Lorraine. On the proggy side - Magician's Birthday. What happened to Uriah Heep? Line up changes and changing tastes...I still listen to the early albums now and then. However, imo, they didn't age well. Its more of a nostalgia thing. You may want to check out some reviews prior to buying tickets for their farewell tour. It'd be interesting if any original band members will be there...US Roadie 1 signing off...

One of the most classic of classic rock bands sitting alongside Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin but never quite getting the same exposure. Hard core fan following with lots of sword and sorcery but never quite achieving the wider profile of the two most prominent bands of the period. Wishbone Ash had a similar problem.

How about some good old fashioned rock & Roll from earlier Whitesnake, ''Ain't no love in the heart of the city'' would be super.. And an introduction on the channel to David Coverdale's Soulful, bluesy, rock vocals! Me thinks you and many roadies will like.... Five octaves voice. Check Spider woman , Salisbuty and July Morning. I am fan of Mark Knoplfer, Dire straits and JJ Cale but UH is next i love. Love or nothing is great song and all of old UH songs. Intresting that new songs of UH are similar to 70s like Time of revelation
