3:30 - 3:54 WOW, Bernie Shaw absolutely slays! What a powerful voice. I think Uruah Heep are the MOST underrated rock band. They have so many good songs and they can really back it up 100% on stage which "in my opinion" is what really counts.

I totally agree , and I can never understand how they never made it into the mainstream ... their music is awesome and very inspiring ... I had a pair of drumsticks from Lee Kerslake ... I gave 'em a rock and roll death , a very fitting end to the sticks . Love this band so much : massive thumbs up

Tim Robinson They did have a few relatively popular tunes that have gotten played a good bit on radio. Easy Living,Stealing, and The Wizard most notably and to a lesser extent Lady in Black and Look at Yourself. They were definitely not popular with critics and the music press, but they sold a ton of albums and while they are not mentioned with the really big bands of that time like Sabbath,Purple, Zeppelin,etc. they definitely were every bit as important and talented as those bands. You could say Uriah Heep is criminally underrated, or you could call them the greatest cult following band of all time.

I am watching Uriah heel. Saw them in then70s great show ken Hensley helped with bands w.a.s.p., Cinderella and was in toe fat . Rest In Peace ken. A different type of band. I liked bands with heavy metal organs like Rick Waksman a nice instrument 👍

they were great way back in about 70 or71 when my 8 year older than me, sister Cheryl took a girlfriend of hers and me to my first rock concert ever in Chicago. It started something, the next week we went and saw the Doobie Brothers and I was hooked. About 49 years and 200 or more concerts later and here I am still listening to these rocking MF______ and it's still great rock a roll. Turtle 7/26/2018 PS thanks sis!

I became acquainted with Heep back in 1975. I was 15 and was about all I listened to -- on 8-track and LP. Got to see them in Memphis in 1982 (I think) in a very small room. It was wonderful.

have seen heep 7-8 times now, and i'm only 20.. saw them near my 12th birthday then went to see them on my 20th... and got to go back stage and meet them before they went on, was fun reminiscing about it being 12 years since i'd first seen them and they're still going.

How could you not smile? My first concert 74-76? Mid Hudson Civic Center, Pok, NY. My dad drove me & my girl. Went to see the warm up band Starz. The old kids went to see Uriah who? Who knew this is where we would all wind up. IT WAS THE BEST and it's not to bad now either !!!!!!

The new singer keeps up well with the late Dave Byron, who was one of the best voices in hard rock. Amazing band. The original Uriah Heep influenced the rise in power metal, from Dio to Blind Guardian and many others.

Indeed, Bernie Shaw is a good singer even though his voice is less clear than David Byron's voice, but it's got definitely something in the same style and I came to enjoy him more and more over the years. I think he actually sang better and better after the 2 first albums he did with them which were still rooted in the American hard-rock/ AOR style that UH did in the 80's (Raging Silence and Different Worlds) . But "new singer" ? Ah ! He's been with them for over 25 years now !!

i saw U H 19 years ago in frankfort il at a bar called Reflections. i was a fan long b4 i saw them live. seeing them live changed it all. went to the dressing room and we partied with the guys and got a autographed Raging Silence tour t shirt . 15 years later saw them at a festival in Brookfield IL. brought the same t shirt autographes all but faded. Rick Derringer opened then U H. after the show.... meet and greet and they signed the shirt again.i love this band!!!!!! they can do no wrong.

I saw Heep in the late 90s at a student union gig in Bristol. It was a double act with Nazareth in support. Whereas Nazareth had sunk to the level of a fat cabaret act Heep were sill vital and fresh sounding. Fantastic band, Iv started to collect their old albums. Got 3 recently at a car boot for $3 each! Now that is a bargain!
