Uriah Heep opened for Def Leppard in a Canadian tour in 1983. Uriah Heep stole the show and when this song came on the arena went crazy. Great show.

I love Pete Goalby. Do you know he goes all the way back to 1973 and a band called Fable. Great record! He's got a wonderful voice and I wish he'd come back. There's only one Goalby, and I hope he's doing fine now.

So sad to hear Trevor Bolder is dead. Then merely weeks later I find out one of my biggest heroes is dead from cancer. Get a million rude comments on KZbin. Have shitheaded parents and not much to live for. But am I suicidal? NO WAY! I believe that when everybody in your immediate world let's you down you find friends even if they are thousands of miles away and that music is the ultimate salvation- not religion of any kind. Pete Goalby is probably my favourite singer although a little bit unusual for Uriah Heep. He made them into a different kind of a band for awhile, but I love it because it's the Uriah Heep Pete Goalby Band! A little information- he's from Wolverhampton and began his career in a band called Fable in 1973. They made one record. It's not like this. It's beautiful and of a different era- a "soft" Uriah Heep if you will or a Parlour Band kind of sound (their album is going for something like 800 pounds now!). I find it impossible that Pete never really broke through, but these things happen. I'd love to get in touch with him. Love to him and Uriah Heep and England and Germany- my two favourite countries. Ben.

I just bought this DVD. It's indeed a great little concert, one of the few full live tapings with Goalby, am I right in thinking there aren't too many of those around? I believe there's another live show from 1984, but it's even harder to find and sadly not on YT. Unfortunately, because he's my fave Heep singer.

I had Mick Box's same LP Deluxe as a 17 yr old kid in 1980. Letting go of that guitar was a bad move on my part, but I got my 1st Gibson Explorer....
