I have been suffering from raised uric acid 7 to 8 for last 6 years and gout attack almost once in a year. I used to take allupurinol only during attack. But now doctor has advised me to take regularly to avoid gout attack. Should i take regularly?

Dr cheema. Aslamoalaikm.. I have raised uric acid between 6-6.5.i am alergic to zyloric.. Only zurig is tolrated.. Using it since 2015.but it never deraised. Yesterday a stucked thorny 7mm stone has passed.. What you would suggust for me... I am samina 55year..plz sir reply

Sir my husband uric acid is 7.7 ...he has swelling is one hand only usmein jalan bhi tha,itching bhi tha...dr ne gout ki medicine di..use se Cretenine bad k 1.4 ho gaya tha and potesium bhi 5 k upar ho gaya tha...abhi band kia toh Crete 1.18 hai sab under aa gaua potesium bhi ...but.UACR 40 mg/g aaya hai....ab kya kare sir nephrologist ne test next month repeat bola hai...please reply agar ye AKD hai toh bad na jaaye please reply sir

Sir, patients with uric acid greater than 7mg/dl almost always present with arthralgias,bodyaches and i have mostly experienced settlements of symptoms after prescribing antigout preparations. Is it not a good practice to prescribe antigout between 7-10even if symptoms present??? Please guide sir

These symptoms are not due to high Uric acid. Arthritis and bodyaches are not symptoms of high Uric acid
