Chris Ballard has to have some sort of blackmail on Jim Irsay. This has been his tenure so far: -No AFC South wins in a historically weak division -Franchise QB unexpectedly retires -Playoff appearances 2/8 last seasons -Bad team culture and accountability -No playoff appearances in the past 4 seasons It’s absolutely insane that not only Ballard has his job but Baalke does too. Baalke ran the 49ers into the ground and hasn’t done that much better in Jacksonville. Lord help the AFC South.

Ballard is a symptom of the problem further upstairs imo
@bronmill3320 сағат бұрын
I’m not defending Ballard, but Ryan Grigson was the reason why Luck retired early. If Grigson actually gave him a competent o-line instead of a bunch of glorified traffic cones, Luck would probably still be playing today and all the issues in Ballard’s tenure would be masked by having a potential top 10 QB on the team
@bronmill3320 сағат бұрын
@@dynamoproductions5agreed, it all starts with Jim Irsay. We need to start putting him in conversations of the worst NFL owners, because having Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck back to back and not only having one super bowl to show for it, but also having them both suffer potentially career-ending injuries because of his incompetence and then chucking them both under the bus is absolutely despicable
@dbzhardcore20 сағат бұрын
Tree didn't show here but when Bucky scored the dagger td for the Bucs, all Bucs fans (myself included) and the team thought that was the last chance for Mike Evans to hit 1k yards as he was 5 yards short. So when the defense gave the ball back to the offense, the stadium was chanting Mike. Props to the Saints defenders to let Mike get 9 yards to get his 1k streak. Everyone went crazy after he caught it as the cannons rained down on the stadium of the final play of the game. Absolute cinema!

It's going to take way more than 1 draft pick to make them competitive again, so I was totally happy with Milton balling out and getting the Pats the win. If anything, my biggest takeaway is that the Pats backups are better than the Bills', so that's one thing to be happy about. And hey, respect to Mayo for pulling a Lovie Smith, I didn't think he was that bad of a coach, and I wish him the best. Go Pats! See you next season.

Joe Milton unloaded what was apparently the second fastest pass ever since the stat was tracked, just behind Jordan Love this year and 43 year old Brady from a few years ago. It's a good sign if we have something cooking at the backup position. While a real coach certainly can right the ship, we are running it back with Wolf acquiring players. Supposedly they couldn't implement an updated process for the draft last time, but his seat has got to be getting warm with how terribad last offseason was. There is also a new practice and fitness facility that'll be breaking ground soon as well, so hopefully Kraft is trying to escape the allegations about being cheap.
