There are a few reasons for not wanting to just replace it. Maybe can't find a color match or if it's through like a rental place all that supplies is probably already there so it's highly unlikely they had to actually go out and buy the machine to clean it it was probably already there making it cheaper to clean vs. Being replaced

Wait, wait, wait! This is a section of carpeting that's been cutout of a living room, cleaned, then seamed back together with the rest of the carpeting? What about the padding? How does that get cleaned? Why isn't this being down outside rather than in the garage? All of that water and urine is being pushed into the wood cabinet, and is just pooling along the wall. Where's the drain? This is ridiculous!

Owner should have replaced this carpet, such a small area, I don't see a follow up video , probably because the carpet would have shrunk a couple of centimeters!........Now if it was a £10k rug I would understand trying to save it.

Eco Steam Clean Liverpool Ltd in England I am sure wool carpet is the popular choice which is prone to shrink more than synthetic carpet....this is a synthetic carpet which if it does shrink, it will be much less than wool.
