Welcome to my latest Magic: The Gathering Arena video, where I will be playing a Historic Brawl deck featuring Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath. I'm a one-spell-a-turn kinda guy. I like watching you because it helps me anticipate competent control players, making things as awkward as possible for my non-blue midrange trash. While I appreciate the variety of your plays, and I enjoyed watching you play "big red" and other decks I wouldn't have expected from you, I could watch you just play dance of the manse for another few weeks too. I think the editing on KZbin makes it interesting because of the elimination of downtime. I definitely want to see Standard content from you regularly because the way you "blind counter" meta cards you assume your opponent has, or run right at them because if they had it they'd have played it, helps me understand when a deck I love just can't climb past certain decklists. Back to the drawing board until I have a plan for surviving .

@@Kalenz1234 not sure how old you are but let me explain this to you. Pros of Uro: -URO has CMC 3 (Low Cost Commander-leads to lots of replay ability) -Uro can come back from the grave (this is usually called “abusing” in certain decks. Point being, that Uro is hard to kill and can come back stronger AND give immediate value is very good) -Uro can generate “value” (His ETB is immediate, can be abused, and the effect he gives you is pretty good) -Uro draws you cards (Because of his draw card ability that can be abused through certain effects, he can let you look at a lot of cards if the deck is made properly. Card draw in any format of magic is king) -Lastly, Uro is a good combo peice (cards that trigger off life gain or draw effects would love Uro as a commander and because of that he is good)

That Mass manipulation on the two Planeswalkers was gross. But remember: stealing a Tibalt is not doing what you think it's doing. The opponent still controls the emblem.

In the last game the opponent went for the wrong Vorinclex, right? Unless something's been changed by Alchemy, the proper Vorinclex+Lili combo is to get her to ultimate all over your permanents.

You're right!!! I thought opponent sequenced it wrong and let the Liliana enter the battlefield before Vorinclex so Lili didn't get x2 loyalty counters, but it was the wrong Vorinclex!

I don't see the comment, but the reason Lili didn't sac the creatures in the last game is because it's symmetrical. They'd have had to sac Esika and Vorinclex, and you had a much harder time dealing with their Vorinclex than they would have had with your Uro.

CGB seemed to miss that if he actually killed Uro with Lilly he would lose both his Esika and his Vorinclex. That Lilly does not have an ability to kill target creature or just the opponents creatures.

Hope you're enjoying your Historic Brawl vacation as much as I am- thanks to you, I'm pretty much playing only Historic Brawl and limited nowadays, and I've never enjoyed Arena more. One question for anyone who knows- CGB mentioned the tier list several times during this video, is that an unofficial tier list or are the commanders actually sorted into tiers and queued against each other? Does it account for winrate (so some janky Urza meld-only deck would not match against CGB's Urza combo and its opponents), or is there some official list that you're queued only within whenever they have someone in the matching tier queueing in your region?

It’s an educated guess, but we don’t have the data for what actually goes where and why. It most likely is based on the commander instead of the deck, but I don’t know for sure . You could test it out and let us know

Simic ninja, with 2 make disappearers at the end and some greeters. And like 8 artifacts with the blue flying tappers and wurmlings better than 1/1 deathtouch at the end anyway. With the thousand eyes, and 6/5 greens, good game... if I'd ever beaten anyone so badly without a brotherhoods end.

41:25 Stealing Tibalt isn't even that good because you won't get the emblem and your opponent still has their emblem, so everything you exile with their Tibalt will still be castable by THEM, but not you!

no veil of summer seems like a mistake. Its defiantly not as good in this format as in cedh but it's a 1 mana cantrip that can be a counterspell if they counter and it's a complete blowout vs rivers rebuke which is rampant in the format. I would say defiantly worth for those scenarios even though its useless against some decks.

I would love for you to try and brew around Kethis or Vadrok. Vadrok works really well with some of the alchemy stuff like comjure or doubleteam and Kethis is a great commander for a midrange strategy.
