can you do a test with the IR cut on the Pro without ND and with 6 stops of ND. Id like to know if its beneficial to just leave a screw on IR cut on the pro all the time, would it cause a color shift w/o ND or is it a good idea to just put an IR cut at 6 stops.

Do you need IR ND'S AND an IR Cut filter on at the same time? (URSA Mini 4.6K)
@myvideoversion5 жыл бұрын
No if you have IR nds will work just fine

Excellent video. Would you still invest in a and Ursa 4.6k at this point if you were able to bag one used like new for only $2200? Other than nd and more buttons essentially it's the same beast right?
@myvideoversion6 жыл бұрын
Absolutely right. I love the 4.6K camera it works awesome yes to built in NDs but if you can get one at that price I say jump on it.

The thing that's annoying about most nd filters is that they change the gamma and/or contrast (hence the darkening when he puts that ir filter on compared to the pro on the right) . The only one I've found so far that does a great job of keeping accurate gamma is breakthrough photography's nd filters.

How's do you like the benro s8 video head with the ursa mini? I've been looking at the s8 vs satchler ace XL trying to decide

Hi! Why u delete 3rd part? Find some solution for calibrate sensor?
@myvideoversion7 жыл бұрын
Yeah I am working on re shooting it with the calibrated sensor it didn't make sense to keep it up with that oversight. It should be out soon

Thanks for another great video. With the 4.6k, do you put the IR cut on first, and then the ND?
@myvideoversion7 жыл бұрын
Marc Andonian I do because it's a screw on and I have 4x4 Matt box filters. But it doesn't matter the order. You can do NDs first as well it will have the same effect
@takether3dpill7 жыл бұрын
Cool, thanks man!

Nice Comparison! I would also like to know what 4x4 ND you are using with the IR cut.

What happened to the low-light test?
@myvideoversion7 жыл бұрын
Zach Hewett it was pointed out to me that I didn't do a black shading calibration before so I need to redo the test so it's fair

When will the low-light test be available? Great vids :D
@myvideoversion7 жыл бұрын
Yeah sorry I had it done but someone pointed out that I didn't do a black calibration on the 4.6K so I need to re shoot the footage. Sorry. I am hoping to have it sooner than later.

Seems strange to be looking at 4.6k results, when the video seems to be have uploaded at 360! - slow bandwidth at your end?
@myvideoversion7 жыл бұрын
I uploaded the video at full 4K. It must be internet on your end.
@Avidcomp7 жыл бұрын
Yep. It's my end. Just re-checked "stats for nerds" again, and I have different (higher-res) data than earlier.

Nice informative video! LMAO at 5:32 ;-)
@marper7005 жыл бұрын
This is so wrong... you should remove this video and do a new one with good filters. THE PROBLEM IS THE TIFFEN FILTER YOU ARE USING. I have an ursa mini 4.6K and I use schneider filters (static! Not variable!) and it works just fine. Do a new test with different filters and use statics filters too. The Tiffen is really a problem.
