To be fair, her speech pattern reminds me of an Asian kid who grew up with someone who didn't speak English all the time. There were a few kids in my classes growing up who sort of spoke the same way, and the same in college. Perfect, unaccented English, except the speech/thought patterns seemed off all in the exact same unidentifiable way.
