It's worth noting that Ichigo also had red eyes when using final getsuga tensho and judging by the shadow effects and how it seems to take Aizen's energy when it hits him, it was a quincy power more than anything.

As others have pointed out, when Ichigo uses Mugetsu his eyes also turned red. Potentially linking back to The Almighty as well. Which makes sense as the Final Getsuga Tensho was basically Letz Stil. Hell, having rewatched Uryu vs Mayuri the two were basically the same thing with the differing factor being Ichigo had his soul reaper powers to throw in to the mix. Kubo is just a mad chef in the kitchen.

FGT is not Letz, FGT is a shinigami ability that temporarily fuses the ability with the user.

@@0eyes we don't have enough information to say that is true either. All we know is that his dad knows of it, and him and Ichigo are the only ones we know that know of or use it. However, we do know that it's incredibly close in similarities to Letz Stil, like the commenter said "was basically Letz Stil" (as in similar to the point that it could be the same) because it's a technique that burns all energy at once, and has a consequence of not being able to harness energy after. The only actual difference we know of are the names. Also knowing that Zanpakuto are made in a similar way to Arrancar blades (klub outside has hinted at the process might have started after observing Arrancar's blades because Menos are made from Hollows combining, and an Arrancar is a broken/unmasked Menos, and their blades are sealed from their own source of power/form/soul, meaning their blades are also made from "folded" Hollows, much like Asauichi are made from Soul Reaper souls/their reishi. SOOOO it's possible that the FGT is a technique a Shinigami learned by observing Quincy)

@@soulstice94 We literally do, it’s a technique that Isshin has the capability to use, so it’s impossible to be a Quincy technique. There’s no fusion with Letz. They also have different methods of loss of power, FGT is permanent loss while using Letz Stil is just a blockage in their heart.

@@0eyes You are still misunderstanding both the original point, and my point that I brought up. It's not that it's LITERALLY THE SAME ability, it's that it's basically the same. AS IN, it can be or could be a copy cat esc ability that some Shinigami created to mirror Letz Stil. Also FGT wasn't permanent, since he regained his powers with the Reishi blade that jump started his energy again. The Reishi Blade was also shown to stab through his heart Also, for a Quincy to regain their power, they need to be completely exhausted, then shot with a Reishi arrow in the heart, presumably to reignite the persons own energy and break the seal that occurs. Both FGT and Letz still have similar effects, similar drawbacks, and similar ways to fix those drawbacks. Yes, there are differences, but i'm not arguing that they are the same abilities, but that they are so similar that saying "basically the same as" is still fair to say.

I have a theory that instead of the plot arrow we're getting Ichigo ×aizen× uryu vs yhwach Uryu has to constantly reverse everything yhwach does and ensure ichigo's bankai isn't broken And aizen mostly focuses on defending uryu because he's immortal And ichigo mostly focus on attack because he's the only one that can beat yhwach It'd still be a very hard battle but it's the only possible combination of fighters that can remotely get close to compete with yhwach With this, we get a better ending and we get to see ichigo's bankai in work

Well, Yhwach gave all six of them an amp through auswählen 2 episodes prior. He may have awakened their Schrifts but their vollständig was an extra. Which he reclaimed, massively nerfing them. When they die, the Schrifts returns to him and next power up.

Hum, I don't know... does it really make sense for Mimihagi to be a Quincy ? I mean, Pernita was bound to Juha Bach in order to seal his Almighty or something and he probably got swayed to his cause in the following 1000 years because he represents the will to change and Juha wants to create a new world. Juha's plan for a revolution might have sound like a very good idea to the left hand of change to be honest. Mimihagi on the other hand (pun intended) symbolizes stagnation and a urge for order. Even the very basics of quincies' powers and the way the destroy hollows are against what Mimihagi stands for. The body parts of the Soul king are older than the current state of the world, the shinigami, the hollows and the quincies, therefore they can chose to stand with whatever faction they want, I suppose. They are not per say quincies or shinigamis themselves. That being said, the right hand siding with the keepers of the current order and the left hand siding with the dissidents make perfect sense, so yeah Pernita chose to become a Quincy on his own accord in my opinion.

I wonder if Mimihagi not only controls stillness but also regression and thats why the light and droplets are moving upwards 8:43 instead of downwards. Antithesis also reverses events so it could explain their connection with the markings on Uryu's right hand. The issue with this theory is that when Mimihagi grabs the SK after being cut by Ichigo, the crystal should have reverted back to it's previous state but that didn't happen in the manga. However, the anime is making changes so maybe that scene will be done differently.

in the last video of mr tommo, he mentioned one thing that make me feel rather fascinating. One other theory that rather makes more sense. Is that, during uryu's battle with senjumaru, he ain't even using antithesis to defeat Senjumaru, instead, is Almighty. reason: 1. the 'antithesis' is the reversal of events, changing object's location from point A to point B, and point B to point A. 2. Now, when Uryu is captured in the Bankai, his hands are the only one being trapped, and his body hanging on the sky. However, later on we may see Sejumaru is wrapped her whole body in it. If Uryu uses antithesis, then the body position of Senjumaru should be as same as Uryu's previously (hanged with hands being trapped, and not the whole body). However it is not the case. 3. Uryu's glowing red eyes, might be the "4th" iris of the Soul King, since Juha has three of them, and therefore, Uryu might also be having a small partion of "Almighty" power when the Quincy King awakens. Juha even confirmed that Uryu may have power that even surpassed his own. 4. Uryu using Almighty to defeat Senjumaru might be a logical way of his winning, since he may saw the future that he being trapped & stabbed by the needle, hence alter it to a future that he ain't even hurt, plus alter the future that Senjumaru's body is completely trapped in her own bankai. Continuing from point no.3, Let's talk about Mimihagi, and the mark that appear on his hands, yes, it may be true that mimihagi is quincy, and actually, the Soul King himself is a quincy. In prime Mayuri flashback, when he is studying about the left arm and right arm, Mayuri mentioned that the right arm controls "stillness"(mimihagi), and the left arm controls "advancement"(pernida). 1st point. Second, the silver that appear on aushwalen is the silver of stillness. Ryuken said "it is an arrow that should be fired by you". Coincidence? I think not. Ryuken might have known that Uryu has the power of SK's right arm in him, and that "silver of stillness" can only be fired by him to be taken effect. Why Juha can't see the future that he will be shot by Uryu with the Silver of stillness? Why would he so surprised that when Mimihagi ascends to the SK palace to hold the SK body? The right-arm of SK which governs Stillness is the only thing that can't be seen by Almighty, perhaps Uryu survived the aushwalen because Juha does not even know the existence of Uryu. That is why he got backshot by Uryu(he got the power of right-arm's stillness), he confirmed that Uryu has a power that may surpass himself, which Juha himself does not know what it is. From Mayuri's study and Ryuken's statement, it is true that Uryu did have the power of SK's right-arm. As for how he has it? that has something to do with his grandfather.

"2" & "7". 2+7= 9 2. in ep 27, as Juha falling from the sky, he opened his eyes, and return behind Ichibei at the exact 9 minutes and 9 seconds of the episode. 3. The Almighty core function is its effect on the future while the antithesis effects the present. Maybe this will play more of role in the final fight. Not sure what would determine the winner in a bout between a guy who has a lockdown on the future vs a guy with a lockdown on the present but that could be a tool along side the silver head arrow. Curious if Uryu also got more out of the blood exchange than the king is aware of. This wouldn't be an issue normaly but for whatever reason Uryu is immune from Ashwaulen which means he doesn't have to return anything that is given like all the other quincy. Beeb wondering if it's just him or an Ishida thing as a whole. I always wondered ho Uryus dad survived not 1 but 2 different Ashwaulens. I get the 1st was for the impure but the 2nd proved he can do it to any and all weather they be pure or not. Damn, and when you could think about possibility of Mimihagi being a Gemischt-Quincy right hand portion of divinity (Soul King pieces) governing stillness as opposed to Pernida being a Echt-Quincy left hand portion of divinity governing progression, it becomes interesting to dissect Mimihagi's possible link to Uryu in a more philosophical sense cause the idea of Uryu's shrift tied to surviving the Yhwach's Holy Selection also tied to how Ichigo and Soken saw how the Quincy and Soul Reapers should be co-existing/working together in a way shows that the way the Bleach worlds are currently, despite their ups and downs, are in a necessary delicate balance as a reflection of other different and unique ideas/races that need to be in a balance that we know and love (the Reincarnation cycle between two different types of species is the most obvious balance that comes to mind). The Mimihagi connection could imply that Uryu, unlike most Quincies who solely desire the destruction of the current order, is a figure meant to challenge that desire. His Antithesis could represent not just a reversal of events but a philosophical counterbalance to the Quincy ideology of progress through destruction (I guess that's obvious when you think about it more, I'm not the sharpest light bulb in the shed, so it took me a sec to get it in that way). In this sense from what I could see, Mimihagi's influence on Uryu might be seen as the embodiment of resistance to the Quincy crusade. If Pernida, representing the Quincy's drive to evolve and advance, embodies unchecked progress, then Uryu, marked by the stillness of Mimihagi, is the necessary opposition-an attempt to hold back the flood of relentless change. The philosophical implications I just thought are cool to think about since i don't know if Yhwach can see the left arm's divinity with the Almighty even if later on or maybe especially because Yhwach absorbs him that Mimihagi's possible camouflage against the Almighty entirely also camouflaged Uryu for his Stil Silver, but anyway: Uryu’s existence challenges the notion that evolution, especially through the idea of violence being the only path forward for his people from their perspective. Maybe as another theory being that Uryu surviving the Auswählen could hint that something within his bloodline and abilities were always meant to resist Yhwach's absolute will. Perhaps Ichigo and Soken Ishida's vision of a world where Quincies and Soul Reapers coexist is mirrored in Uryu, whose power reflects the need for both progression and restraint, destruction and preservation. Uryu’s place in the grand scheme of the Bleach universe might be less about power and more about the balance between forces that define existence-life, death, change, and stasis. Or... maybe i just tripping in all honesty... But it's definitely quite fun to think about (Feel free to correct me or input your own two cents if you wanna).

I think Uryu could benefit the almighty when Yhwach’s awake. Though Yhwach will be the one to absorb and control Mimihagi . It’d be great if Uryu could absorb Pernida and use it power for himself. Though we wouldn’t have the Mayuri fight.

with regards to pernida, 2nd cour established that ichibe actually seemed to have it on him until he used it to cover up yhwach's as well as showing him the soul king. its possible that the "pernida" we see is actually some other quincy that got possession of the left hand of the soul king rather than the hand being independent. same with gerard actually, he might be someone who was given the heart rather than the heart itself.

I would hope that Uryu’s power is in fact something new instead of just him being the personification of the undo button. Let’s be realistic. The Antithesis sucks. So does the Balance but that’s a different story.

I wouldn't say that antithesis and balance suck, but rather that they appeared infrequently, and because of that, we have to guess what they are capable of (unlike miracle, almighty, etc.).Theoretically, balance should give its owner the strength to kill Gerald.

The only thing I said is that Balance and Antithesis didn’t have as much time as, for example, Almighty, and therefore they didn’t show their power as often. Balance gives the user the strength to overcome misfortune (e.g., Miracle), so theoretically, Haschwalth could defeat Gerald, but that doesn’t mean it would actually happen (Miracle could be better than Balance).
